Description

Job Responsibilities:

• To maintain and keep track of calibration of equipment used during analysis

About This Role:-

The CRO is a senior executive responsible for the effective independent oversight of AsiaNext Exchange’s risks, under the direction of the Board of Directors. The CRO’s primary responsibility is to develop and implement a risk management framework with appropriate tools for the measurement, reporting and control of AsiaNext’s financial and non-financial risks. The CRO, with input from the CEO and management, will develop a risk appetite framework (as per the Board’s stated risk tolerance) expressed in a limit structure for all Exchange services. The CRO will also monitor risk-taking activities on the Exchange platform by its participants and report adherence to limits to the Risk Management Committee.

The CRO will report to the CEO while having access to the Board directly. The CRO is a member of the Executive Committee (EXCO).

Responsibilities

• As Head of exchange-wide risk management, the CRO will be responsible for the overall risk management framework and practices at the Exchange. This includes assessing the creditworthiness of participants at the Exchange and setting appropriate trading and credit limits for their transactions, as well as any settlement risk arising from the Exchange acting as a central counterparty on a post trade basis, and how this risk can be mitigated such that the residual risk is within the risk appetite and capacity of AsiaNext.
• To maintain independence of the risk management function, the role of the CRO shall not have any business or revenue generation responsibilities.
• The CRO shall also have a direct reporting responsibility to the Board in reporting the risk agenda and advising and responding to the Board on all risk matters.

• Monitor and ensure proper oversight of market risk including market risk assessment and measurement tools and models for market and liquidity risks, risk monitoring and reporting dashboards, systems, capital computation and mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and ensure proper development, execution and monitoring of the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP), and its deliberation in the Risk Management Committee and BoD.
• Receive reports and ensure the development, integration and maintenance of all IT systems and applications related to risk management, in conjunction with Head of IT Security and CTO.
• Monitor the integrity of risk measurement techniques and MIS that are used to monitor the Exchange’s risk profile relative to its risk appetite.

To assist the Distribution Manager in the supervision of the team of Logistics Assistants (Import/Export), ensuring smooth day-to-day operations that effectively fulfill or exceed the logistical needs and requirements of the company in a cost-efficient and proficient manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Outbound and Inbound Shipments

• Supervise and track all shipments to ensure their timely and accurate execution and delivery.
• Plan, coordinate, and schedule export shipments to meet specified timelines.
• Optimize efficiency in freight and related costs through strategic scheduling and consolidation of export shipments.
• Process all incoming shipments to ensure proper interfacing of IDNs.
• Prepare accurate shipment documentation in GTS for Tradenet transmission.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Customs regulations for declared permits.
• Daily update and maintain the inbound shipment database, ensuring the completeness of details.
• Provide or obtain information from customers, airline/shipping lines, and government agencies.

CITES Management

• Plan and assess buffer stock levels of re-export CITES to regional markets.
• Enhance the recording and documentation flow for CITES.
• Maintain a balance between buffer level and cost.
• Perform monthly accounting of CITES purchases, issues, and balances.

ATA Carnet Management

• Process ATA Carnet applications.
• Monitor the renewal and return status of all ATA Carnets.
• Liaise with the Chamber of Commerce to resolve discrepancies and irregularities.
• Verify and ensure the correct completion of ATA Carnets by customs.
• Ensure compliance with regional guidelines for ATA Carnet hand-carry.

Management of Forwarding Agents

• Evaluate the performance and service of forwarding agents.
• Security and Insurance
• Coordinate CIT for local and overseas transfers/shipments within Group Transit Limits.
• Manage the Claims Database and provide monthly updates on outstanding claims.
• Organize secure transportation for Brands' events and photoshoots in collaboration with service providers.

Monthly Reports

• Generate and present reports on export shipments, including lead-time performance, CITES purchases and usage

Requirements

• Possess min. Diploma in Logistics.
• Good communication skills and also a team player
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented mindset.
• Knowledge and experience in air freight forwarding.
• Knowledge of Tradenet and SAP is advantageous.

Job Responsibilities:

General Ledger/ AR

• Staff will assist the Finance team with the year-end closing activities and external audit.
• Donations receipts (via cheque, credit card, online) and accounting in Workday and issuance of Tax-Deductible Receipts.
• Prepare reports (Annual Statistic Report, e-collection statistic report etc.) as requested by the management.
• Perform reconciliation of bank statements and balance sheet schedules.
• Prepare journal records for revenue, bank charges, adjustments, etc.
• Assist in prepare monthly and quarterly GL and GST report and e-collections report
• Prepare bank reconciliations, balance sheet account reconciliations, and follow up on reconciliation items.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in accounting.
• 2 years of relevant working experience
• Good knowledge and experience in handling matters relating to Donation will be an advantage.
• Good in Microsoft Excel , and multitasking

Volunteer Management

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to identify, build and sustain a healthy pool of competent Silver Generation Ambassadors (SGAs) and SGD volunteers
• Monitor the recruitment cycle of SGAs and SGD volunteers
• Monitor the centralised recruitment of volunteers (eg. SGA/volunteers referral, Facebook, QSM etc.) to ensure a healthy ratio of staff to volunteers to seniors in order to achieve SGO’s goals and objectives
• Update and maintain volunteer’s personal information and their volunteering activities to ensure an up-to-date database
• Introduce SGO volunteering program to public and private sectors to encourage volunteerism and also, as a CSR, with the aim of providing more avenues for volunteer recruitment
• Support various SGA rewards and recognition initiatives
• Co-ordinate and extend VM related courses for staff and SGAs

Professional Development

• Engage in continual learning for personal and professional growth and development
• Share good practices and support the training and development for SO staff and SGAs
• Establish regular communications with the SO VM champions on matters related to volunteer management and training

Coordination & Admin

• Consolidate feedback from SOs, SGAs and volunteers to identify and analyse needs in the community
• Manage and control SGAs ID tags assets
• Perform office administration functions

Network Development

• Implement strategies to create new volunteering opportunities through partnership with internal and external organisations.
• Implement loyalty programmes to recognise the good work of the volunteers.
• Implement formal/informal channels for volunteers to provide feedback on their participating volunteering program.

Job Requirements:

• Recognised degree in any discipline
• At least 2 years of working experience preferably with knowledge and familiarity with the healthcare or social sectors
• Analytical and organised, able to translate concepts into actionable goals
• Confident in working with external stakeholders
• Good in communication, both verbal and written
• Meticulous, team player, resourceful and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
