Job Title: Supplier Operations Manager

An opportunity to join our Aerospace Procurement Supplier Management teams as a Supplier Operations Manager to drive improved performance across our external supply chain. Our Supplier Management teams work closely with our external supply chain partners to make sure that we are delivering on our customer commitments, and this role plays a critical part in ensuring that this is done in a sustainable way.
This role requires extensive travel - approximately 80% travel. When not travelling, your work location will be Shanghai or Singapore office. There will be opportunities for hybrid working.
What you will be doing
As critical part of the Supplier Management team, you’ll lead operational performance improvement through the delivery of targeted supplier interventions. You will be responsible for:
- Crisis management – Managing supplier interventions and immediate customer impact mitigations.
- Risk Mitigation - Coordination and closure of medium to long term risks.
- Continuous Improvement – Driving continuous improvement and lean interventions in suppliers.
- And you’ll also support the development of new capability in the external supply chain.
Who we are looking for
- A global outlook and exposure to different challenges, cultures and ways of working.
- Ability to build and influence senior level relationships both internally and externally
- Proven delivery of managing change programmes, embedding core standards and new ways of working.
- Experienced in operations, planning or supply chain management
- Programme management skills and experience would be advantageous.
- Experience in driving continuous improvement and integrated supplier performance across quality, cost and delivery would be advantageous.
