About the Role:

As a member of the Digital Transformation team, the IT Executive will provide comprehensive onsite and remote IT support to ships and office users. This role involves managing ICT systems, satellite communication, networking, and resolving hardware and software issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and training to employees, resolving IT-related issues.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure and implement cyber security measures.
• Enforce IT security policies and ensure network security.
• Collaborate with vendors for system upgrades and new technologies.
• Document IT systems, processes, and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain system performance and security.
• Perform regular system backups to ensure data integrity.
• Assist in Digital Transformation projects.
• Stay updated with technology trends and recommend improvements.
• Provide onsite IT support at vessel locations in Port (Singapore).
• Be available for after-hours support if necessary.
• Perform additional duties as required by management.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Information Technology or related field.
• 3-5 years of IT experience.
• Proficient in setting up and maintaining PCs, servers, and network drives.
• Well-versed in MS Office 365 (administration, SPO, OneDrive).
• Knowledge of LAN, WAN, and network administration.
• Knowledge of cyber security, firewalls, and antivirus systems.
• Experience with shipboard IT systems and satellite communication is a plus.
• Comfortable working at vessel locations in Port (Singapore).
• Willing to be on standby for after-hours support if needed.
