This is an on-site role, in Tuas West Drive.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Manage, maintain and implement Food Quality and Safety Management System.
· Conduct daily/monthly plant hygiene inspections, and regular cleaning and sanitation validations (for example, environment and equipment swab tests).
· Monitoring the pest issue in plant, timely reviewing pest trend and monthly presentation for pest issue.
· Involve in all quality assurance / product development activities to ensure compliance to established SOP and regulatory guidelines.
· Responsible for audit programs (including internal audit), interacting with both external certification bodies and customers in a professional and appropriate manner.
· Conduct internal training programs for food safety, quality, SOP, GMP and HACCP.
· Conducting and preparing validation and qualification reports.
· Reviewing quality trends and collaborate with cross-functional teams on investigation of customer complaint regarding product quality/non-quality issue and internal non-conformance, including corrective actions and risk mitigation to prevent recurrence.
· Performing troubleshooting, conducting product traceability and mock recall.
· Timely monitoring, reviewing and updating SOP, CCP and OPRP summary plan.
· Perform and prepare sensory test for finished products.
· Updating the calibration of measuring equipment.
· Drive continuous improvement project to sustain food quality and safety in factory.
· Support the team on implementing and maintaining the ERP system.
· Any other ad-hoc duties as required from time-to-time.
Qualifications
· Diploma/degree in the Food Science/Nutrition/Biotechnology/Food Technology or equivalent work experience.
· Minimum 2 years of working experience in quality assurance/quality control within the food industry.
· Knowledge of BRCGS, FSSC 22000, HACCP, SFA, MUIS and other food safety standards will be preferred.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office, web-based software applications and high level of computer literacy in general.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and problem-solving ability
· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
