We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Executive to join our team on a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will support daily operational activities related to paper oil trading and will work closely with traders and external counterparties to ensure seamless execution and settlement of trades. This role also involves managing various administrative tasks as needed.

Responsibilities
Trade Operations:
- Coordinate with brokers to ensure timely trade execution.
- Review contracts and trade confirmations to verify accuracy.
Risk Management & Reporting:
- Assist with daily position and exposure reporting for traders and risk management teams.
- Maintain accurate records of trade details, including pricing, quantities, and counterparty information.
- Reconcile trades to ensure alignment with financial systems and risk reports.
Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution:
- Address and resolve operational issues related to discrepancies, delays, or contract terms.
Administrative Support:
- Perform ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in operations, preferably within the oil trading or commodity trading industry (experience in other industries is also welcomed, as training will be provided).
- Familiarity with paper trading operations and documentation processes is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams and external parties.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
