About the Role
Becoming a high-performing QSR in the world is not possible without excellent Operations Management in place. With fast-evolving best practices, diverse ways of working across markets and the digitalisation of services and processes, Operations Management has never become this exciting, with the team’s insatiable appetite to keep improving for customer convenience and efficiency. This is what awaits you as a progressive Operations Manager to make a difference at KFC Asia.
You will be responsible in covering 2 to 5 franchise markets. Restaurant numbers will vary depending on market size.
You will be based in Singapore with some travelling required.

You will be a trusted value partner to support various aspects of restaurant operations, driving operational excellence across the Asia region. Your leading-edge approach and growth mindset will be most valuable to drive brand standards and guide our Franchisees with a clear visual of what Operational Excellence and Great Customer Experience looks like in the restaurants.
Your role is critical in building best-in-class franchise operating capability by developing strategic and credible relationships with franchisees to enable operational leadership and performance delivery.
MAKE A DIFFERENCE… with your role’s responsibilities
- Lead franchisee partners to deliver best in class operations including maximising team, guest, growth, and franchise shareholder experience. Deliver safety, balanced scorecard and market share performance.
- Lead and implement an ongoing gap analysis with each franchise partner to ensure optimal structures, systems, people, processes and performance is in place to deliver organisational effectiveness and operating capability.
- Create and elevate data led insights and reporting as a foundation for driving KPI performance and signalling points of intervention. Identify and share KFC brand-endorsed best practices with franchisees.
- Lead and support franchise partners to deliver operational compliance to the franchise agreements and brand standards through a structured support process.
- Recommend and implement Operational Excellence escalation procedures and intervention actions to maximise performance, promptly protect the KFC brand and deliver consistent operational performance.
- Be the key point of contact for the franchise operations function. Ensure operational and other programs are clearly communicated in a structured, aligned, and effective manner.
- Build partnerships with the franchise restaurant opening lead to identify areas for improvement and growth in existing processes and capability. Complete and agree appropriate action plans and track progress.
- Partner with KFC People Team to build talent, culture, self-sufficiency an overall organisational capability.

To be successful in the role, you must be/have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related undergraduate degree. MBA is desired.
- Minimum 5-7 years of restaurant or retail operations experience. Minimum of 4 years in above store positions.
- Outstanding action-driving ability, and attention to detail in managing processes.
- Ability to influence senior leaders both internally and externally
- Deep level of operational and People & Culture knowledge with a strong commitment to customer and team satisfaction.
- Commercial ability including understanding financial statements and recommend solutions to business problems.
- Analytical thinking and root-cause analysis capability with the ability to apply actions to drive consistent change.
- Strategic/broad business thinking skills.
- Authentic and strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and negotiation/influential skills.
- This role will directly business-partner various markets within Asia, thus, fluency in English is required. Proficiency in another relevant language desired.
