Knowledge of French Bistro, French cheese, wine pairing, sous-vide techniques and basic French language is a must. Executive Chef Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that all food meets the highest quality standards and is served on time.
• Delivering the menu and designing the plating presentation for each dish.
• Coordinating kitchen staff, and assisting them as required.
• Hiring and training staff to prepare and cook all the menu items.
• Stocktaking ingredients and equipment, and placing orders as needed.
• Enforcing best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen.
• Creating new recipes to regularly update the specials in the menu.
• Keeping track of new trends in the industry.
• Incorporating feedback from restaurant staff and patrons to make improvements or resolve issues.

Chef de Cuisine Requirements:

• Qualification from a culinary school.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in a similar position.
• In-depth knowledge of food principles, sous-vide techniques, French cheese and best practices.
• Passion for French Bistro cuisine that delights and attracts customers. Knowledge of French language is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
• Creative, innovative thinking, organized, motivated.
• Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety.
• Experience managing inventories and stocktaking.
• Available to work on-call, shifts, after hours, over weekends, and on holidays.
• Good reporting skills and experience in development.

- Ensure all assigned duties are carried out & that resources are efficiently utilized.

- Ensure the cleaning standards are met & maintained, & report any shortcomings/faults to the Operations Manager.

- Acting as a communication conduit between the Client, the Management & your downline.

-Liaise all feedbacks/comments with positive solutions to the Operations Manager

- Maintain Safety Standards & Procedures & Ensure that the provisions of the WHS Act & Regulations are complied with

- Ensure the company’s policies & procedures are adhered to by your downline.

- Support Operations in Periodic Cleaning

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office needed for planning site deployment, minutes reporting, etc,
