Role Overview:

The Marketing/Social Media Executive will work closely with the senior marketing consultant to execute day-to-day marketing activities and elevate company brand presence. In this hands-on role, you will manage digital marketing efforts, run campaigns, maintain social media channels, and support various aspects of the marketing strategy. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) with engaging content, including posting, scheduling, and community management.
• Collaborate with our videographer and video editor to ensure a steady flow of content.
• Design basic marketing materials (social media graphics, email banners, etc.) as needed.
• Plan, execute, and optimize paid digital campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.), including A/B testing for continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including writing, designing, and managing email sequences to nurture leads and engage existing clients.
• Work on SEO optimization efforts to improve website ranking and drive traffic.
• Organize and manage events, both online(webinars) and in-person, to engage with clients and partners
• Analyze marketing performance data to provide insights and recommendations for improvement
• Take initiative and be a hands-on team member, ensuring that all marketing efforts are executed with passion and attention to detail.
• Stay up-to-date with marketing trends and tools to ensure company remains at the forefront of industry best practices.

Skills & Qualifications:

• At least Diploma in the relevant discipline with proven experience in a marketing role with hands-on experience across multiple marketing channels (social media, digital ads, SEO, email marketing, etc.).
• Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including paid ads, SEO, A/B testing, and email marketing.
• Basic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools).
• Experience in event planning and execution.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimize campaigns accordingly.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative in a fast-paced, small team setting.
• Ability to multitask and manage various projects with a hands-on approach.

Other Qualifications:

• Experience in the real estate or B2B sector.
• Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.

About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and capable Event Management Officer (EMO) to assist in managing events and visitor experiences at a gallery and venue. The EMO will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of events, conducting site recces, coordinating logistics, and managing VIP and VVIP visits. This role requires flexibility, as the EMO will be required to work on weekends or after office hours, as per event needs.

Key Responsibilities:

● Assist in the daily operations of event spaces, including conducting site recces and overseeing event setups and teardowns.

● Be present on-site during events to ensure smooth operations.

● Assist in managing VIP and VVIP visits, ensuring that all activities are executed seamlessly.

● Handle enquiries related to events and visitor experience activities.

● Conduct monthly inventory checks and manage replacement of event-related items.

● Work closely with the Board and the event team to ensure all instructions and requirements are met.

● Follow and update safety protocols for events as required.

Job Requirements:

● Minimum of 1 year of experience in event management or a related field.

● Diploma qualification in Engineering, Facilities, or Event Management.

● Obtain First-Aid and AED certification within two months from the start of deployment.

● Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to work independently.

Contract Details:

● Job Commencement Date: 1st January 2025.

● This is a contract-based position.

Additional Information:

● The EMO will report directly to the Board and will be part of the Events and Visits team.

● Transport allowances can be claimed if working hours start before 7am or end after 10.30pm.

● The EMO will only be entitled to claim off-hours for work on weekends or after office hours unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Board.

Scope:

• Liaise and coordinate deliveries
• Provide logistical support and site management such as site conditions, cleanliness, vector control, contractor management, and follow up on mobile toilets servicing
• Conduct regular inspection to ensure logistical setups are done according to schedule and in a safe manner
• Manage contractors’ entry into the site and their presence on site

• Security guards deploy at the site will report to the Site Manager daily for any matters and issues within the Parade site
• Prepare and set up the site prior to any key component

• Reports to the Authority and ensure proper management of event site and related matters including site safety and security.
• Involve in the pre-condition and post-condition checks of the event site and support in the documentation of any defect spotted throughout the duration of the site usage.
• Work and liaise closely with Managing Agent (MA) of the Venue and promptly rectify any issues feedback by the MA.
• Coordinate and liaise with appointed contractors and event partners for all set up, tear down and activities on event site.
• Conduct daily inspection around the event site and provide timely update to the Authority. To also document site work updates.
• Work closely with the appointed Technical Director and Technical Manager to monitor all set up, tear down and activities that happen on the event site. Ensure all precautions are taken to safeguard the venue from any damages such as floor protection for heavy duty movement etc. Should there be any damages, to assist in preparation of incident report and identification of responsible party(ies) for liabilities.
• To inform the Authority immediately of any incidents on-site and to follow up with incident report within 24hrs of the incident.
• Provide necessary logistical & operational support during rehearsals, technical runs, actual show day and other events or activities organized within the event site, which includes but not limited to making sure lights are on before any rehearsals and to make sure all sound and lights are off after every rehearsal.
• Support the Authority to oversee the set-up and tear-down of all logistics items including tentage & gallery stand, mobile toilets, barricades at the area.
• oversee cleaning contractor to ensure that all debris or waste are cleared from the site at the end of the day.
• Assist to liaise with the relevant government agencies during their inspection and/or site visits. To report to Organiser on any issues or outstanding matters immediately.
• Document all delivery orders and documents submitted by contractors and event partners and to pass to the Authority weekly.
• Assist in supervising all rectification works by the contractor and ensure the satisfactory handing over of all site matters.
• Manage the car park area (to work with the security to allow authorized vehicles to enter or park in the car park).
• A good team player who can multi-task, work with all levels of people and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Independent, observant, responsible and able to perform operational tasks assigned.
• Must be prepared to work under rain and sun as well as must not mind getting hands dirty.

RESPONSIBILITIES

THIS IS A 2-YEARS RENEWABLE / CONVERTIBLE CONTRACT ROLE.

You will be part of the Events Management & Planning teams to manage daily centre group visits and events operations, resource allocation, coordinating and achieving performance objectives for SDC.

Responsibilities:

• Itinerary planning for organised school/corporate visits and coordination of all resources, reservation and booking of tickets and setup required.
• Ensuring day-to-day operational requirements are executed in accordance with safety regulations and business objectives.
• Coordinate with other business units and external clients on event operations and resource management for events such as family days, workshops, product launches and SDC’s Signature events.
• Procurement through Tenderboard for necessary logistics and services to support centre and event operations.
• Overall in-charge (on-site) of the operations for events, school & group visits.
