Responsibilities:
• Involve in vendor selection and negotiate best value and delivery lead time with vendors/contractors.
• Strategic sourcing activities to find and develop new suppliers to drive cost reduction and improve the cost of projects / ownership.
• Establish and develop strong & positive working relationships with strategic partners, vendors, sub-contractor and global suppliers and affiliated companies to ensure smooth operation and optimal support.
• Identify, access, and develop potential alternative vendors for various services.
• Monitors vendors’ performance in terms of quality, delivery, price and services and taking corrective actions.
• Draft, review, and execute contracts, purchase orders, and other procurement documents. Ensure that contracts are accurate, legally binding, and in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Coordinate with various departments (i.e. sales, project, accounts) on the required technical specifications, delivery/collection schedule and supplier payments etc.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive information on all purchases made and ensure that all purchasing records are updated and filed accordingly.
• Provide advice to project teams on post contract management.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in procurement activities.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
