Job Role Description

The Assistant Store Manager oversees the operations of store in assigned area. Together with the Retail Operation Manager, Area Manager and Store Managers, he/she is responsible for managing the area's operational and service excellence plans with the end objective of optimization to achieve set sales targets. He/she will also action on any sales campaigns and customer sales leads. Management Reporting

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 to 8 years of professional working experience with minimum 4-5 years in Procurement functions

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for civil construction projects that align with the overall project and company objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, delivery capabilities, and reputation. Establish strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors, ensuring the best value and terms for the company while minimizing risk. Oversee contract management to ensure compliance and resolve disputes if necessary.
• Work closely with the finance and project management teams to manage procurement budgets, track expenditures, and optimize cost-saving opportunities.

Assistant Store Manager

Position Summary: The Assistant Store Manager will work closely with the Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring that sales targets are met, staff are well-supported, and customers receive excellent service. This individual will act as the Store Manager's second-in-command, stepping in during their absence and contributing to overall store management, including staff supervision, inventory control, and customer service excellence.
