About The Role

About the Role:

As Manager/Senior Manager, you will lead a team that supports the procurement activities and ensure that supplies are provided efficiently to the hospitals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for reporting of cluster operating metrics for procurement, logistics and contract management
• Develop green procurement initiatives to support healthcare net zero goals for Scope 3 emissions
• Coach and mentor the IT procurement team in executing RFP/RFQs to achieve savings and efficiency
• Responsible for risk assessment, conducting quarterly control-self assessment exercises within the cluster to ensure compliance
• Review procurement policy, processes and guidelines ensuring that they are up-to-date, striking a balance between governance and efficiency
• Guide and ensure internal stakeholders are able to understand and comply with policy
• Identify and recommend areas whereby procurement processes could be simplified to achieve agility within the organization
• Manage intranet site for procurement to ensure single source of truth for policies, documents, templates

Requirements

• Min. Degree in Supply Chain/Business Management or equivalent with relevant end to end procurement experience and team management experience.

The Warehouse Hotel is a meticulously restored 37-room modern boutique hotel in Robertson Quay, part of the prestigious Design Hotels portfolio. Historically detailed architecture bridges heritage and the contemporary, with thoughtful hospitality at its core.

We are looking for a passionate Sales Manager / Event Sales Manager to carry out all aspects of a profit and service driven sales on behalf of the hotel in accordance with the objectives established in the marketing plan. He/she will ensure that sales activities, top accounts and bookings are focused to yield maximum rooms and catering revenue.

Key areas of responsibilities – include but are not limited to:

• Identify new marketing opportunities via demographics, market forces, and key partnerships through market research
• Solicit, negotiate and generate contracted revenues from volume prospects that meet criteria established in the property business plan.
• Employ revenue management techniques and strategies to recommend corporate rate proposals.
• Accurately prepare and present requests for proposals in order for both client and hotel to receive a good value.
• Identify, solicit & prospect new business opportunities with potential revenue for all areas of the Hotel i.e. Guestrooms (Transient & Groups), catering events, F&B outlets, Retail etc..
• Prospect for new contract business using a wide variety of methods including phone calls, outside sales calls, attending community functions, internet prospecting, supplier partnerships, trade journals, etc.
• Develop, implement and constantly modify sales action plans.
• Negotiate and close contracts that meet the hotel's business plan objectives - Desired arrival, departure and volume patterns must be met.
• Manages and coordinates catering and conference service activities and client specifications to deliver smooth execution of executive meetings and events requiring space, food and beverage services.
• Manages room blocks and coordinates the collection of attrition for groups with the Reservations and Accounting departments.
• Develop and distribute communications relating to planning and execution of group functions, including, but not limited to group resumes, banquet event orders, and room sets according to established guidelines.
• Provides accurate group revenue and expense forecasts according to established guidelines.
• Manages and distributes function and event changes to operating departments during function execution.
• Monitors client specifications to promote smooth execution and client satisfaction.
• May be called on to host functions and participate in, or conduct sales blitzes, travel and work extended hours to achieve departmental goals.
• Sustaining rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits by exploring specific needs and anticipating opportunities.
• All other duties as assigned or needed.

• Prepare submissions to seek approval for the procurements of services and goods and manage the contracts including communications and engagements with the appointed vendors
• Provide administrative support and coordinate the arrangement of airfare and accommodation for overseas experts to conduct meetings with/workshops.
