• Lead and develop a team of warehouse personels handling daily operation, including hiring, training and developing a team of personnels.
• Liaising closely with internal departments to fulfil customers’ orders on time and stock accuracy.
• Perform timely investigations for any inventory and shipment discrepancies by working with internal stakeholders, identifying the root cause/s and putting in effective preventive actions.
• Responsible for reviewing, up-keeping and updating of relevant procedures and documentation in a timely manner including provision of training.
• Oversee and maintain departmental procurement related activities.
• Perform system related testings, simulations and/or validations on a periodic basis.
• Perform any adhoc tasks and/or continuous improvement projects assigned from time to time

Requirements

• Preferably Diploma or Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management
• Preferably with experiences of leading a team of 5 and above
• Preferably with knowledge in GSDP, GMP, ISO9001, ISO13485, ISO45001 etc
• Strong in SAP WM7 and Microsoft office applications
• Good language command, both spoken and written
• Good logical and analytical skills
• Meticulous, organized and possess good time management skills
• Good presentation and articulation skills
• Able to prioritize his/her work based on the activities
• Ability to work independently and raise to attention as and when required
• Ability to work and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Reporting to the Goods Flow Team Manager, you will be responsible for the goods flow process in receiving or replenishment or full serve in the warehouse; ensuring the most efficient, commercial and safe way possible to provide a good shopping experience for our customers.

Your assignment

• You will contribute to the On-Shelf Availability for our customers, using the correct and on-time execution of the assigned goods flow working methods.
• You will perform replenishment tasks in the assigned area, that support an efficient goods flow process and data integrity productivity goals. 
• You will perform inventory checks and ensure data integrity on periodic basis
• You will follow quality, security and safety service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• You will support other areas of replenishment or departments when required
• You may be required to operate pallet jack or machinery such as Forklift, Reach Truck or Power Stacker

Job Description:

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe handling of shipments within the warehouse. • Guide truck drivers onto loading docks.
• Inspect shipments on arrival, during storage, and before dispatch.
• Follow safety policies and regulations when moving freight or handling equipment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics; experience in operating material handling equipment preferred.
• Certification to ride a forklift truck preferred.
• Must be able to work well in a team.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions; able to work independently with little guidance.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, bend, and lift heavy materials.
• Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management software.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.

About the Role

Ensures logistical movement take place efficiently, on time and with the correct documentation.

• Liaising with clients and forwarders for shipment (import & export)
• Usage of in-house Warehouse Management Systems
• Preparation of Invoices and Despatch Notes for Shipment
• Receiving and shipping of equipment and parts
• Ensuring items packed are secured for delivery
• Maintaining records of items shipped and received
• Updating database on equipment shipped and received
• Maintaining records of calibration date of equipment
• Updating database on equipment’s calibration date
• Assist in local delivery
• Loading and unloading of items
• Housekeeping and upkeep of warehouse safety standard
• Ensure accordance to company standards, industry standards, QHSSE policy and local regulations

About you

• GCE “O/N” level or Certificate in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
• Relevant working experience in logistics and/or warehousing
• Valid Class 3 driving license is essential
• Forklift license is recommended
• Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software, i.e., Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 15kgs
