Detail Task for Overseeing Procurement Departments:

• To provide mentoring to teams
• To provide guidance to teams on commercial/ contract terms/ process flow
• Produce and maintain internal guidance documents and training on procurement and contract management
• To work with teams to increase productivity
• To appraise and develop teams together with Procurement country leads and division leads.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the department in handling administrative tasks for smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records of all procurement documents for vendors, subcontractors, service providers, and the warehouse.
• Evaluate and report on the performance of approved vendors or service providers.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and government regulations.
• Manage supply chain processes like issuing purchase orders and clearing shipments if necessary.
• Handle outstanding purchase orders and delivery schedules.
• Regularly update reports, documents, and filing systems.
• Generate and prepare monthly inventory and procurement reports.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Business Studies/Administration or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in MS Office Excel and SAP.

Job Description

• To provide excellent customer service and product knowledge to the customer.

This role defines target inventory levels and replenishment parameters, to compensate for demand and supply variability for all items and locations in meeting customer demand, thus reducing risks of not meeting customer expectations and Molex goals.

Our Team

As part of the Consumer & Commercial Solutions Division, you will be reporting to Lead of Inventory Planning

What You Will Do

• Create inventory plan through recommend aggregate inventory levels by reviewing scenarios and capital requirements

• Provide information to the Network Supply Planner during supply and balancing activities

• Collaborate with Network Planner and Operations Lead to define/update supply constraints (customer requirements, long term maintenance)

• Collaborate with Network Supply Planner and Analysts to finalize supply inputs with all constraints accounted for

• Review stocking policies

• Review inventory program

• Review customer reorder policies and determine on-hand and in-transit inventory positions

• Load updated service level requirements and forecast accuracy into inventory tool

• Run inventory tool and document scenario results

• Review inventory scenario results, assessing financial impact against working capital requirements to generate/publish inventory plan

• Other duties as assigned by Management

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Production Management, Materials Management, Data Analytics

• 2 years in inventory planning in a manufacturing environment

• Exposure to inventory planning and replenishment tools

• Familiarity with Inventory planning/stocking/safety stock strategies

• Familiarity with ERP environment, preferably SAP ECC

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, detail oriented

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Good collaborative and interpersonal skills

What Will Put You Ahead

• APICS certification desirable

• Experience with planning platforms such as Kinaxis, IBP desirable

• In-depth knowledge of inventory techniques

• Experience working at a global level

• Ability to process and evaluate large data sets

• Usage of data process & visualization tools, e.g. Tableau, python
