JOB SUMMARY

The role of the Director of Communications is to create and maintain awareness through a favorable public image of Capella Hotel Group and our brands by effectively communicating core messages, programs and accomplishments. We are looking for a diligent intern with some experience working in an arts environment. You must be able to commit fully to the duration of the internship. The working hours during production days will be long. You may be required to stay in the evenings or come early in the mornings. But the reward of seeing through the whole process of creating an artwork and making the cast and crew and audiences happy at the end of the day will be intoxicating!

You will be part of a small team managing the daily running of the office. You will be directly involved in the company’s production of our annual season programmes, including chorus concerts, Gala Concert and Opera staging.

Job Responsibilities

Marketing

• Assist in managing social media platforms and monitoring activities on the company’s social media calendar
• Preparing artwork and collaterals from designers, ensuring accuracy across digital and non-digital marketing channels for vetting by the Marketing Executive
• Assist the Marketing Executive to coordinate with designers and vendors for the design and printing of publicity materials
• Support other marketing-related activities

Administrative

• Conduct database entry and regularly update records
• Organise and update inventory periodically

Working hours

Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm

Interns will be required to work during performance days that usually take place in the weekends and in the evenings. Interns will then be given time-off the following day or at the end of the production, to rest.

Requirements:

• You must possess or currently pursuing at least a Diploma in Arts Management, Arts and Theatre Management, Marketing & Communications or equivalent
• You must be articulate with excellent writing and communication skills
• You must have excellent attention to details
• You must have excellent organisational skills, able to multi-task & prioritise workload
• Experienced working in an arts organisation or knowledge of the arts sector in Singapore is an advantage

4. Ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent look and feel across all channels.
5. Manage the organization and storage of design files and assets to ensure accessibility and efficiency for the marketing team.
6. Work closely with photographers/ videographers to produce high-quality visual assets for marketing purposes.
7. Coordinate production with vendors for delivery of marketing materials.
8. Any other duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements

1. Minimum education Diploma in Marketing or Communication
2. Minimum 1-2 years of Marketing Communications experience would be an advantage.
3. Creative thinker with a passion for design and marketing.
4. Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms is a plus.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
