Tax Team

The Tax team supports organisations at every stage of the lifecycle – from structuring business tax effectively and managing any employment tax issues to transactional tax obligations and compliance. The friendly and supportive tax team works collaboratively across various four main specialties – corporate tax, goods and services tax (GST), transfer pricing, and employer solutions and private clients. Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of corporate tax compliance clients

Qualifications and requirements:

• Preferably possess any recognised degree in any discipline or equivalent qualification in accounting and/or relevant Professional Qualification

• Attained / Attaining Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals (SCTP) Level 2 Corporate Tax accreditation would be an added advantage

Principal Accountabilities:

• Handle a portfolio of various business vehicles including but not limited to, local private limited companies, branches of foreign companies, companies limited by guarantee and listed companies, independently
• Manage all corporate secretarial work related to your portfolio including preparing necessary documents/resolutions, bizfiling, updating statutory registers, liaising with clients, etc.
• Exceed client expectations and maximize client retention through excellence in communication, expectation management, care and service
• Prepare and lodge documents with ACRA, and other statutory bodies as required
• Compliance with the Companies Act and relevant laws, rules and regulations
• You will use our corporate secretarial and client relationship management software system to maximize your productivity and quality of service

Required Skills & Experience

• Diploma/Degree in relevant field/CSIS qualification or currently pursuing SAICSA course
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in corporate secretarial or law firms
• Must possess strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Must possess strong computer skills
• Prioficient and fluent in Mandarin as it is required to communicate with Chinese speaking clients.

The key responsibilities and deliverables of a Relationship Manager, Corporate Banking are as below:

• Reaching out to prospective customers in MNC segment, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Funds, FDI/ FPI segment which have presence in ASEAN regions and with strong business linkages to India
• Originating and onboarding (with complete KYC) new corporate customers and developing and maintaining good relationships with the customers
• Understanding customer requirements and providing banking solutions including but not limited to investments flow, trade flows and other transactional banking requirements
• Preparing credit proposal, coordinating with Risk department for approvals and undertaking credit monitoring & asset reviews of the portfolio
• Maintaining existing relationships with corporate clients

• Handle the full spectrum of corporate secretarial duties, including company incorporations, registration of foreign branches & representative offices, striking-off of companies, and preparation of directors'/shareholders' resolutions for ongoing corporate secretarial matters.
• Assist in drafting and updating the database of corporate secretarial precedents to ensure best practices.
• Ensure compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate and timely filings.
• Manage the registration and maintenance of trademarks to protect the company's intellectual property.
• Draft, review, and manage contracts, memos, and communications with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Provide support to the legal team with a focus on contract matters, company initiatives, and communication with external stakeholders.
• Conduct legal research and assist in the preparation and review of legal presentations or documentation.
• Administer and maintain the database of legal documents and agreements, ensuring proper storage and easy retrieval.
• Provide administrative support for the regional legal unit, contributing to overall team efficiency.

Requirements:
