Job Description:
The Sales Specialist works alongside with the Lead Salesperson to deliver eFX revenue targets with corporate clients in APAC. The Sales Specialist will work with Lead sales person to develop deep understanding of the client need / product detail and Bank’s capabilities with the aim of deliver eFX revenue growth. The Sales Specialist owns the delivery of the eFX product front to back to clients. The Sales Specialist will work closely with Trading/Product to define eFX growth strategy and leverage detailed client / product knowledge, market knowledge in order to generate eFX sales opportunities.
Details of the Division and Team:
RMS is global sales team covering corporate clients by delivering risk management solutions to help client better manage FX, Rates, Commodity and other bespoke financial market risks. In APAC, we have salespeople located across the regional hubs in Singapore and Hong Kong as well as in 11 other markets across Asia. We are looking for a salesperson based in Singapore ( Hub) to focus on eFX. The salesperson would interact with corporate client’s front office on regular basis. In addition, would work closing with Product, Operations, Legal, Compliance etc to deliver eFX product to clients for risk management purpose.

Your key responsibilities
- Work in partnership with Product and various coverage team including but not limited to corporate bankers, FX sales to deliver eFX revenue and improve DB’s eFX market share in APAC
- Detailed understanding of client’s execution model and risk management policy to provide suitable and appropriate eFX solutions
- Prospecting for new client electronic business within coverage base, sell/present DB supported platforms to meet client’s requirements (including origination and on boarding as per DB policies)
- Work closely with the trading team across Spot, Forward, Options, SegEx (algos, fixings) on optimization and analysis of client flows.
- Collaborate with Product and RMS sales across APAC on product development ideas to enhance Deutsche Bank’s eFX offering
- Perform regular client reviews and visits with pro-active follow up
Your skills and experience
- 10 years’ experience in FX, with preference to have both voice and electronic sales or trading experience from Tier 1 Investment Bank
- Detailed project managing or business manager experience or the ability to handle migration projects and coordinate with ops/legal/trading effectively
- 5-7 years’ experience of working in front office in a regional or global capacity.
- Flexible to be both client facing and product management.
- Able to up sell workflow (FX4Cash, Algos, Maestro, Cross sell into related products like PB)
Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply
