Strategy

• The role will focus on selling Macro products such as FX, Rates, et to Financial Sponsor clients, such as Private Equity firms, Alternative Asset managers, and other institutional investors.

Client Relationship Management:

• Experience of interacting with Sponsor clients or intermediaries working for Sponsors, and ability to bring or build deep senior level client relationships in this segment.
• Sound understanding of macro risk management issues pertaining to Sponsor industry.
• Knowledge of decision-making hierarchy at Sponsors is needed.
• Understand client strategies, objectives, and risk appetite to propose relevant product solutions.

Product Knowledge:

• In-depth knowledge of Macro products such as FX and Rates
• Command over various hedging instruments, knowledge of market liquidity in FX and Rates derivatives, comfort with XVA and FVA charges

Execution and Deal Structuring:

• Familiarity with finance linked transaction documents including facility agreements, intercreditor, hedge waterfall provisions would be beneficial.
• Issues pertaining to margining, hedge co structure, related documentation issue , will be an added advantage.
• Ability to position for strategic and event driven hedging, along with understanding of issues involved in deal contingent pricing is an added advantage.

• The role will involve liaising with clients and executing trades and orders in line with SCB’s policy and procedures consistent with all FM Sales staff globally including Order Handling, Record Keeping and Best Execution.
• Accountable for ensuring appropriate frameworks and operational infrastructures are in place to enable the business processes to be efficient, appropriate and compliant with internal policies, procedures, codes and applicable external laws and regulations.
