About the role

As part of our shift towards innovation and growth, Wine Portal is looking for a Marketing Executive to undertake marketing projects to build prominent brand awareness. You will organize promotional wine events and creative marketing campaigns that can make a difference in our company’s success according to trends and customer interests.

• Organise and execute marketing plans, advertising, activations and events
• Create brand awareness and develop the brand portfolios in Wine Portal
• Work closely with cross departments to streamline messages in digital and offline marketing collaterals
• Work closely with in-house designers to design marketing materials such as brochures, social media posts, eDMs, website banners etc
• Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns
• Produce and manage social media content, including videos and blog posts
• Maintain and update customer databases
• Review and evaluate post-marketing campaigns for improvements
• Perform market research on brand awareness, competitor activities, and market trends

Qualifications

• Min 3 years of experience
• Preferably Bachelor degree holder or above, or equivalent.
• Organised, meticulous, results-oriented and can handle stress and tight deadlines
• Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry
• Some knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, or Canva
• Working knowledge of using social media marketing dashboards i.e Meta Business Suite, Ads Manager etc

What will I be doing?

As a Cluster Sales Manager/Cluster Senior Sales Manager (Leisure) , you will be working on maximizing revenue opportunities for the leisure segment. He/She will be directly responsible for performing the following task to the highest standards:

• Maximize all travel segment revenue opportunities
• Review sales and other revenue generating business plans, identify gaps, ensure proactive measures to fill hotel and conference space capacity, and meet set targets
• Contribute to the selling strategy of the hotel and manage the departments so that Team Members adhere to the strategy
• Understand the competitive marketplace and implement approaches to ensure the hotel stays competitive in the local market
• Ensures a culture of high quality standards and proactive selling
• Meet with clients on property, during outside sales calls and participate in industry event and represents the hotel at national and international specialist trade fairs and workshops, agreed by the CDOS and in co-ordination with the whole Business Development Department
• Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions

• Ensure that sales call plans are submitted on weekly basis the week prior to CADOS/CDOS
