The Sales and Coordinator will oversee all company projects and services, ensuring seamless communication and execution. Acting as a translator, this individual will liaise with overseas counterparts for logistical requirements, bookings, and coordinate between local and international teams. The candidate will also be responsible for promoting the company's services to local entities, organizing meetings, and supporting the overall growth of the business in Batam.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management & Coordination:
- Oversee all ongoing projects and services within the company.
- Act as the primary point of contact between local teams and overseas partners, ensuring that all requirements and expectations are clearly communicated and met.
- Coordinate logistics, including location, housing, transport and ferry bookings,
- Monitor project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met and any delays are communicated promptly.
2. Translation & Communication: Bahasa
- Serve as a translator for both written and verbal communication between local teams and overseas partners, ensuring clear and accurate translation of technical and business terms.
- Facilitate seamless communication between the company and foreign stakeholders by translating documents, emails, and other correspondence when necessary.
3. Client Relationship Management:
- Liaise with potential local clients and entities to promote the company’s services.
- Organize and set up meetings with key stakeholders in Batam and surrounding areas, pitching the company’s offerings.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, proposals, and promotional materials for client meetings.
4. Sales Support:
- Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities in Batam and surrounding regions, promoting the company’s offerings to local businesses.
- Develop and maintain a database of local contacts, leads, and prospective clients.
- Support in preparing sales reports, tracking progress, and meeting sales targets.
5. Logistical Planning & Coordination:
- Liaise with overseas partners and counterparts to ensure all logistical requirements are arranged, such as accommodations, transportation, and on-site services.
- Ensure all logistical arrangements comply with both company and local policies, providing seamless coordination for foreign teams visiting or collaborating with Batam operations.
6. Administrative Support:
- Assist with various administrative tasks related to both sales and operations, ensuring all paperwork is processed on time and accurately.
- Maintain organized records of all client interactions, project details, and logistical arrangements.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, coordination, or project management, preferably within Batam or Indonesia.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Ability to act as an effective translator between local and international teams.
- Experience in liaising with overseas counterparts and managing logistics.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with an eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
- Knowledge of local business regulations and logistics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the Batam business landscape, including key industries such as manufacturing, shipping, and services.
- Experience working with international teams or companies.
