Executive / Senior Executive (Clinical Research Officer) for the Health Screening Centre

Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) is looking for Executive / Senior Executive (Clinical Research Officer) who is self-motivated, proactive in problem solving and a strong team player. • Take participants’ informed consent for study, verify eligibility and systematically performing drug and supplement verification.

• Assist in collection of biological samples for research.

• Assist in conducting health and lifestyle questionnaire, dietary and/or cognitive assessment.

• Perform physiological assessment according to Standard Operating Procedures and record measurements. These physiological assessments include body composition, lung, eye, skin and heart function using sophisticated medical devices (training will be provided)

Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) is looking for a full-time Executive/ Senior Executive, Clinical Research Officer (Biobanking) for the Health for Life in Singapore (HELIOS) Study. This study is undertaken jointly by LKCMedicine, National Healthcare Group and Imperial College of London (www.healthforlife.sg). It aims to profile the health and behaviour of people from the general Singapore population. • Receive and process biological samples for banking purposes; with accuracy and in a timely manner without compromising sample quality.

• Assist in frozen sample retrieval and sorting.

• Perform nucleic acid (DNA and RNA) extraction and quantification.

• Perform daily routine measurements on analytical systems.

• Monitor quality standards by verifying equipment function through routine equipment maintenance, running daily quality controls and calibrations.

• Perform general administrative work such as tracking the supply of daily consumables and coordinate with vendors/suppliers on procurement matters.

• Able to commit to rotating shifts; afternoon shifts on weekdays, and on Saturdays.

The Economics and Political Science Department at INSEAD is looking for a part-time or full-time Pre-Doctoral Researcher to work as a Research Associate (Area Researcher) on INSEAD’s Asia (Singapore) campus. The main task is to assist the Economics faculty in conducting research. We are looking for a full-time pre-doctoral student to work as a Research Associate on INSEAD’s Asia campus. Work done will be at the direction of the PI, and where relevant, the Industry Director and Centre Director.As the Programme is interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary by nature, you will be expected to convey yourdomain expertise and edify others (and vice versa) in as productive, constructive, and collaborative a manneras possible.

You may be asked to participate in the development of use cases and delivery of proof-of-concept prototypesfor government and industry partners in the areas of computable contracts and "rules as code". Experience inrequirements analysis and agile, iterative methodologies will be useful at this stage.The work of the team will be largely determined by these use cases and customers. We will work with multipleuse cases so that we can abstract across them and develop generalized, reusable infrastructure. We will workwith specific customers so we can build useful applications on top of that infrastructure.You will contribute to the design and development of open-source software written to serve those use cases.You will work as part of a team of research engineers, developers, and domain expertise and you will beexpected to actively participate in team meetings and text-based communications.
