Roles & Responsibilities

• Working closely with WSH Singapore Market (Corporate level), to develop Certis Aviation Security’s (CAS)
• Workplace Safety and Health System (WSH) and establishing WSH programmes in collaboration with the organisation’s management team and key stakeholders
• Monitor workplace injury count
• Introduce/run existing workplace safety initiatives to promote safety culture
• Lead incident investigations for workplace injuries and accidents
• Support the risk and compliance framework for workplace safety and health
• Develop, review and monitor the risk management activities for CAS
• Conduct site safety inspections and risk assessment reviews regularly
• Plays a strategic role in ensuring alignment between the organisation’s WSH policy and its business and operational concerns
• Collaborates closely with colleagues in all Segments/Divisions within CAS to facilitate effective enforcement of WSH parameters across the organisation, by evaluating current processes and systems, and staying abreast of legislative requirements and industry best practices in WSH.
• Conduct WSH briefings for new hires
• Submission of nominations of safety acts by staff for airport safety awards

Skills and requirements

• Licensed Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with Ministry of Manpower
• Have at least 2 years of work experience relevant to the work to be carried out by a WSHO
• Comfortable working with data, have a good understanding of the methodologies and limitations of statistics, and be able to present salient findings effectively
• Strong policy acumen and good analytical skills
• Highly-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well in a team, with the willingness to take initiative
