We are looking for a/an Senior Executive/Assistant Manager to join our Sector Communication & Engagement team. The candidate will help communicate and drive engagements with our Community Care Partners including but not limited to co-ordinating focus groups and events. The candidate will also be involved in rolling out effective and timely communications through our various digital platforms and organised events.

Reporting to the Team Lead, the candidate will be involved in strategic communications and is required to plan and execute strategies to create awareness of sector-wide developments as well as engage and encourage greater interactions among our sector partners. The role will require coordination with various AIC Internal Stakeholders to streamline implementation and timing of engagements and announcements to the sector, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of such engagements and introduce new and novel ways of communicating to the sector. The role will also see the candidate being part of a team that organises major annual events for the sector, such as the Community Care Work Plan Seminar and Community Care Day, over and above other regularised events in AIC’s calendar such as webinars.

Job description:

• Work in a team to build long-term engagement of Community Care Partners
• Create, plan and execute communications strategies to increase sector awareness, outreach and engagement (including but not limited to co-ordinating focus groups and events) with a strong emphasis and focus on impactful sector-wide development/s.

Job Requirements:

Primary Care Engagement (PCE) Team, Primary Care & Community Care Development Division (PCDD) supports MOH and primary care providers, essentially private GP and dental clinics in the operationalisation and administration of national schemes such as Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS), Screen for Life and Public Health Preparedness Clinics (PHPCs). This is to enable our primary care providers to provide affordable and quality care for patients in our community.

As a member of this team, your key roles will include the following:

Schemes Administration

• Encourage and recruit private GP and Dental to sign up for national schemes and programmes
• Conduct training and on-boarding of clinic onto the scheme and programme
• Lead in the management of specific national schemes, which includes liaising with MOH and relevant entities on the development, monitoring, reporting and administration of the schemes.
• Assist in the development of collaterals for marketing and administration of schemes and programmes
• Proactively review, identify gaps and propose solutions to ensure smooth operations of schemes
• Work with various agencies (MOH, NCS, HPB, IHiS) to continuously improve workflow to ease administrative or IT workload for the clinics

Account Management

• Assist in the review of care and support protocols to ensure case processes and standards are established across Satellite Offices i.e. triaging, case sensing, referral and coordination.
• Support capability building and professional development efforts to equip Satellite Office (SO) staff with necessary competency to perform care coordination roles.
• Implementation of Community Monitoring System (CMS) to all SOs to support vulnerable seniors who live alone or with spouse only and presented with risk factors.
• Established robust referral protocols between Silver Generation Office (SGO) and community partners to ensure that coordinated supports are rendered to the vulnerable seniors in addressing their risk and needs.
• Implementation of refreshed SGO Care and Support Guide and Risk Stratification Protocols to guide SOs in the care processes.
• Support the implementation of Vulnerable Adult Screening Guide (VARG) by MSF to SOs to ensure the prompt response to support vulnerable adult who are subjected to abuse or neglect by their caregivers.
• Support the setting up of Community of Practice (CoP) to facilitate collective learning on social and health issues which have an impact on the vulnerable seniors in the community.

Job Requirements

Volunteer Management

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to identify, build and sustain a healthy pool of competent Silver Generation Ambassadors (SGAs) and SGD volunteers
• Monitor the recruitment cycle of SGAs and SGD volunteers
• Monitor the centralised recruitment of volunteers (eg. SGA/volunteers referral, Facebook, QSM etc.) to ensure a healthy ratio of staff to volunteers to seniors in order to achieve SGO’s goals and objectives
• Update and maintain volunteer’s personal information and their volunteering activities to ensure an up-to-date database
• Introduce SGO volunteering program to public and private sectors to encourage volunteerism and also, as a CSR, with the aim of providing more avenues for volunteer recruitment
• Support various SGA rewards and recognition initiatives
• Co-ordinate and extend VM related courses for staff and SGAs

Professional Development

Coordination & Admin

• Consolidate feedback from SOs, SGAs and volunteers to identify and analyse needs in the community

Network Development

• Implement strategies to create new volunteering opportunities through partnership with internal and external organisations.
• Implement loyalty programmes to recognise the good work of the volunteers.

Job Requirements:
