We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic Marketing Communications Manager (Public Relations) to help us raise ERA’s public profile in Singapore.
A confident communicator and multi-tasker, you will be responsible for strategizing, developing and implementing ERA’s media strategies, with the goal of promoting and building ERA’s brand affinity through various communication touchpoints and platforms. You will report to the Head of Marketing and should possess relevant experience in media relations and management, pitching story leads, generation of relevant media and communications material such as press releases, FAQs, Q&As and speeches where applicable, including public relations and stakeholder management.
You will also provide integral support in Project Marketing, where content generation and curation will be required to support the project launches and programme initiatives rolled out to boost ERA’s brand recall in the consumer market. This role will require close collaboration with Project Marketing, Social Media, the Creative team and other functional business units, to amplify both PR and Marketing Communications efforts, to achieve top-of-mind brand recall amongst consumers and a more robust share of voice amongst media partners.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of all local PR activities, including but not limited to on-site support for events involving media, pro-active media pitching, managing media requests, and ensuring accuracy and consistency in coverage reporting
- Respond to all media inquiries. Establish and grow stronger media relations and explore opportunities for thought leadership to grow industry awareness for ERA’s brand, where opportunities arise
- Manage daily media monitoring and analyze content to determine public sentiments for the generation and implementation of effective communication strategies.
- Increase and improve brand awareness through active pitching and engagement with the media. Provide support on issues and crisis management communications where relevant.
- Drive all PR activities including media outreach, interview opportunities, award nominations, speaking engagements and thought leadership for ERA’s senior management
- Work cross-functionally with the different divisions within the Marketing Communications team, on brand-led campaigns, to execute effective PR strategies and grow brand awareness.
- Support Project Marketing in generation of all relevant communications material for project launches and programme initiatives
- Generate creative briefs, media schedules and publicity campaigns to support Project Marketing initiatives where applicable
- Provide support in other ad-hoc Communications initiatives/campaigns when needed
Ideal candidate
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications or Marketing
- 5+ years of Public Relations & Communications experience in an agency/corporate communication
- Adept in writing and creating content in a variety of styles (press releases, bylines, social media, internal stories), with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to prioritize and work under tight deadlines, especially when dealing with time-sensitive news.
- Excellent project and time management skills. Capable of prioritizing, multitasking, and managing multiple projects in order to deliver measurable results.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
- Enthusiastic and keen to understand the Real Estate Industry.
- Independent, meticulous, driven, positive, proactive, and have a growth mindset.
- Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken).
- Excellent writing, content development, and storytelling abilities.
- A strong command of Mandarin in both writing and speaking, would be a bonus
- A team-oriented and collaborative approach.
