We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager / Senior Restaurant Manager to join our Food & Beverage division, responsible for the overall operations of the restaurant and ensuring a consistent and outstanding guest experience. He/She will oversee all areas of service within the restaurant, including but not limited to, training, motivating and growth of the team, food and manpower cost management, P&L responsibility, staffing plans, safety, and hygiene, whilst adhering to all company policies, procedures, and brand guidelines.
Job Responsibilities:
1) Team Management & Training
- Lead, train, and mentor a team to ensure excellent service and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for new hires and ongoing staff development.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and professional growth.
2) Profit & Loss (P&L) Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all financial aspects of the restaurant, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Analyze financial statements and reports to identify areas of improvement and implement effective strategies to maximize profitability.
- Ensure all financial targets and objectives are met, including sales growth, cost management, and expense control.
3) Operational Excellence
- Ensure smooth and efficient daily operations, maintaining high standards of food quality, customer service, and cleanliness.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of ingredients and supplies.
4) Guest Experience
- Uphold the highest standards of guest experience, addressing and resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Monitor and evaluate guest feedback to continuously improve the dining experience.
- Create a welcoming and memorable environment that encourages repeat business and positive reviews.
5) Marketing & Promotion
- Develop and execute effective marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Identify opportunities for partnerships to increase brand visibility and guest loyalty.
- Oversee social media presence and manage content across platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
- Monitor and respond to guest reviews on platforms like Google Review, addressing feedback and promoting positive interactions.
6) Other Responsibilities
- Proactively take on additional responsibilities as required.
- Perform any other additional responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor degree in hospitality management, or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role, preferably in Japanese cuisine.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage P&L statements and achieve financial targets.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Experience in hotel management or fine dining concepts will be advantageous.
