Job Summary:

Our client is leading provider in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for commercial, industrial and institutional buildings.

Currently they are hiring HVAC and BMS Project Engineer under 2 years agency contract.

Working hours: Monday – Friday, Office hour

Location : Island wide, HQ office at Boon Lay Wy. Ttravelling will be required as might cover multiple site

This position will be responsible for understanding project requirements, ensuring smooth execution of project, coordination of site work with contractors and customers to ensure timely completion of project within budgeted cost and timelines. You also need to ensure all works carried out in accordance with the specified quality and EHS standards.

Responsibilities:

• Designs, plans, and handles testing, commissioning, software programming and supervision on site for BMS on project plan, specifications, and contract documents.

• Analyses plans, specifications, and contract to determine project requirements.

• Prepares submittals containing schematics, descriptions and technical literature as required. Maintains current design documents throughout project duration.

• Prepares engineering re-estimate reports and minimizes report variances.

• Perform testing & commissioning of BMS.

• HVAC experience and sequence of preparation for BMS

• Experience in BMS technical submittals preparation, method of statement, compliance statement and OMM.

• Experience in IO point schedules, assignments and materials selection with value engineering

• With logical knowledge in ACMV & HVAC system control logic.

• Network and MS office & project background knowledge is a must.

• Be aware of all kinds of risks and their controls in your work environment.

• Be a part of site EHS inspections, hazard/ risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures.

• Immediately inform the site EHS officer/site manager of any additional EHS risks.

Stop the work if any unsafe conditions are identified.

• Project management skill required.

Requirements:

• Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical engineering or its equivalent

• Related experience in HVAC/ BAS industry

• Strong customer management & problem solving skills

• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

• Understanding of PLC (eg. Siemens/Allen-Bradley)

Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews for compliance of the ML models in accordance with overall platform governance principles such as versioning, data / model lineage, code best practices and provide feedback to data scientists for potential improvements.
• Develop pipelines for continuous operation, feedback and monitoring of ML models leveraging best practices from the CI/CD vertical within the MLOps domain. This can include monitoring for data drift, triggering model retraining and setting up rollbacks.
• Optimize AI development environments (development, testing, production) for usability, reliability and performance.

Skills/Requirement

• Proficiency in Python used both for ML and automation tasks
• Good knowledge of Bash and Unix/Linux command-line toolkit is a must-have.
• Hands on experience building CI/CD pipelines orchestration by Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or similar tools is a must-have.
• Knowledge of OpenShift / Kubernetes is a must-have.
• Good understanding of ML libraries such as Panda, NumPy, H2O, or TensorFlow.
• Knowledge in the operationalization of Data Science projects (MLOps) using at least one of the popular frameworks or platforms (e.g., Kubeflow, AWS Sagemaker, Google AI Platform, Azure Machine Learning, DataRobot, Dataiku, H2O, or DKube).
