Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible to handle operations and documentations for ocean freight import / export, permit declaration and transportation
• Liaise closely with carriers / freight forwarders / vendors
• Ensure that all jobs are executed efficiently with accuracy in a timely manner, complying to the requirements of the customers
• Attend to email correspondence with customers & overseas agents
• Prepare billing invoices to customers and verify vendors' invoices
• Any other adhoc duties assigned by management

Requirements:

• Diploma in Logistics or equivalent
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Familiar with permit declaration
• Specialized in Freight Forwarding or the equivalent
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Positive working attitude

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop new business accounts and maintain strong relationship with new and existing key clients for assigned verticals and customer segments
2. Develop and grow company’s products and services to achieve sales Key Performance Indicators throughout the year
3. Selling the Company’s suite of logistics and freight forwarding services including:

• Ocean and Air Import
• Ocean and Air Export
• Distribution and Warehousing
• LTL Transportation
• Cargo Insurance
• Customs Brokerage

4. Soliciting potential clients (sales leads) to establish rapport and arrange meetings including:

• Cold calling
• Scheduling of said meetings
• Meeting customers within your territory
• Issuing quotations and preparing bids to secure sales with customers
• Preparing and leading formal presentations for prospective customers, demonstrating services offered

5. Handle and follow up with all sales queries from customers and sales leads, including:

• Preparing sales proposals, tenders, requests for quotations
• Rate negotiation with agents/vendors
• Accurate recording of sales and quotation details
• Following up on severely delinquent customers, assisting the finance department with minimizing overdue accounts receivable balances from clients

6. Oversee all new business throughout the sales cycle including on-boarding, implementation, coordination, after-action reviews and profit variance analysis

Job Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in relevant course of studies
• Min. 2 years of relevant experiences in freight fowarding/logistics industry
• Possess good communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

As a Regional Freight Sales Director required to work closely with the Regional Sales team to help increase their capabilities both commercially and operationally. The candidate will report to the Regional Managing Director, SEA & Oceania.

This role will be responsible for the Regional Sales Team P&L, sales, account management, talent acquisition and development, and regional industry relations. This role will also be expected to create and execute strategies that drive continuous growth in both volume and profitability and will play a key role in the evolution of enterprise vision, strategy, process and ensuring the achievement of company goals.

Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage a regional sales team, providing guidance, motivation, and support

· Identify market opportunities and potential customers to expand the regional client base.

· Set and communicate sales targets, ensuring team members are aligned with company goal

· Develop accurate sales forecasts and regularly report on regional sales performance

· Work with the team to drive customer retention and growth through strategic account planning and relationship building

· Drive revenue growth by securing new business and expanding existing accounts

· Responsible for Regional Team profitability of the company’s P&L

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree with relevant field of studies

· Min. 8 years of sales experience or in an equivalent sales management/Director role

· Demonstrated success in leading sales teams and achieving revenue targets

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-focused approach

· Ability to travel within the region as required

• Addressing to customer enquiries by providing quotations, shipments updates and inovice bills
• Coordinating receipt and record of incoming shipments
• Arranging outgoing shipments by booking and liaisng with transport providers/carriers/vendors
• Liaisng with departments making sure operation runs smoothly
• Preparing and filing of shipping documentations
• Ensure shipments are compliance with regulations and requirements
