Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Functional Business Analyst with expertise in Actimize or similar transaction monitoring systems to join our team. This role will support a client project focused on upgrading and enhancing transaction monitoring capabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis and system expertise, complemented by excellent customer-facing skills. Success in this role means delivering value to the client by understanding their needs, collaborating on solutions, and ensuring timely and effective system implementations.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with client stakeholders, including compliance, risk, and IT teams, to gather, document, and prioritize requirements for transaction monitoring upgrades and enhancements.
Solution Design: Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Actimize or other transaction monitoring systems, including configurations, rule logic, and scenario development.
System Configuration and Testing: Oversee configuration changes and ensure thorough user acceptance testing (UAT) to verify that system enhancements align with client expectations.
Compliance Alignment: Work closely with client compliance teams to ensure system configurations align with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Project Execution: Provide project management support, including tracking milestones, identifying risks, and collaborating on resolutions to maintain project timelines and deliverables.
Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: Develop comprehensive documentation for all system updates and processes, supporting both compliance audits and smooth knowledge transfer to client teams.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or related field.
· Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on transaction monitoring or compliance systems.
· Strong background in Actimize or similar platforms, preferably in financial or regulatory contexts.
· Proficiency in transaction monitoring system functions, including alert and case management.
· Familiarity with SQL for basic data analysis, along with experience in project management tools like JIRA and Confluence.
· Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to manage client relationships and convey complex information to diverse audiences.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
· Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to meeting project goals.
