The department is Asset Management. This department is primarily responsible for the management of the operational PBSA properties in Australia, the focus of the department is centred on 4 main objectives, providing our residents an unforgettable journey in our property, budget management, operator management and lastly improving and preserving the value of the property.

Designation and Reporting

The department you will be in is the Asset Management department which is currently split into 2 teams by geographies. Your designation is Associate, Asset Management, and you will report directly to the team head. You will be based in Singapore but are expected to travel to Australia regularly and whenever required. You will be required to work closely with all other departments within the Company as well as our PBSA operator(s) in Australia.

Job Requirements

• Relevant bachelor’s degree in business, Project Facility Management, or Real Estate.
• At least 1-2 years in asset management or related field preferred
• Skilled in negotiation and project management
• Have great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
• Competent in written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical and time management skills
• Be driven, enthusiastic and have a growth mindset.
• Good working attitude and show willingness to learn.
• Able to present himself/herself confidently in front of people.
• Regular Travel is required.

• Assess, based on the scheme’s eligibility criteria, whether the applicant is eligible for childcare financial assistance; and if so, to recommend the amount and duration of assistance for the child;
• Navigate through different systems to process online applications received;
• Manage appeals from applicants who do not qualify for the assistance, and attend to queries about the scheme from parents and members of the public, childcare centre operators, social workers and other relevant parties;
• Work closely with childcare operators, social workers, or colleagues in the course of work; and
• Provide administrative support to the team, such as triaging the emails and MP appeals.

• Familiar with and able to use IT systems and processes confidently;
• Has good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel;
• Have good interpersonal and communication skills to communicate with clients, child care centre operators, parents and relevant parties

About the Role:

• Lead a team of mechanical supervisors and contractors in performing all the plant inspection and modification works to ensure work are carried out timely, safely and with good maintenance practices with no disruption to plant operations.
• Manage and lead the plant painting program to ensure the integrity of plant facility.
• Coordinate with plant operators and other maintenance groups in the execution of plant modifications works with no compromise to safety of workers and integrity of facilities.
• Conduct and arrange training for staff and contractor to enhance their skill and competency levels.
• Implement management systems based on standards stipulated under ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and SS651.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of inspection records and reports in Data Management System.

About you:

• Possess a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Material Engineering.
• Have at least 2-3 years of relevant work experience in fixed equipment and piping work related to petrochemical, oil and gas industry.
• Good analytical & problem-solving skills, ability to communicate with staff in different functions & contractors, strong spirit of collaboration & teamwork.

Overseeing the FOH service staff to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
