WTS-WS Service Manager (SM) to support Business Units in Singapore and South East Asia branches.

The SM’s primary responsibility is maintaining stability, service and ensuring the availability of technology systems for the user environment. Operationally, the SM will need to provide frontline support, manage projects, procurement, moves/adds/changes, training and communication pertaining to the users’ technology environment. Given the breadth of support of business areas, the SM is required to be able to multi-task across business units.

Overview

This role will be part of the Workforce Services (WS) department with the Enterprise Technology Services (ET&S) group. The program manager will be responsible for overseeing the creation of the operational framework, governance, event management, reporting and structure within the WS Asset Management function.

The Asset Management decommission and disposal function in WS is responsible for ensuring adherence to the firms updated policies and procedures, this includes but is not limited to ensuring adoption of the firms standard inventory tool globally for all off-net data bearing assets, adoption of firm shipping standards and creation of procedures and reporting in support of. MEETINGS

• Conduct Client design kick-off meetings for assigned projects and subsequently, monitor such follow-on meetings

• Review design drawings for value engineering and constructability consideration
• Coordinate and verify subcontractor proposals for assigned projects during the award stage
• Ensure compliance to cost report submission timelines
• Negotiate subcontractor deductions for project non-compliance and breaches
• Administer Project Management resources to oversee the following matters for assigned projects
• Compliance to key legal obligations in relation to the project
• Flow through of Client contract obligations to the subcontractors
• Project schedule and site progress
• Project cost and budget adherence
• Formal project certifications, including handover certificates
• Defect rectification progress, particularly during the handover/ final statement claim stage

• Define the strategy for development, build increments, validation, and project commissioning.

• Perform periodic reporting to internal senior management and customer according to Thales methodology (Chorus) and common methods such as SAFe/SCRUM.
• Ensure the implementation of multi-project synergies and lessons learnt, in order to optimize cost of technical solutions.
• Manage engineering risks & opportunities during bids and project phase, guarantees programme commitments, including those flown down to subcontractors and partners.

• Manages Work Package Managers (WPM) and Integration Verification, Validation and Qualification (IVVQ) Manager to ensure successful completion of respective milestones.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified in computer science, information technology, engineering, project management or other suitable discipline.
• At least 5 years Project Management experience.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a Senior Engineering role
• Experience working within a Systems Engineering lifecycle
• Experience in IT/security/C2/defence related projects from a Systems Engineering perspective
• PMP Certification or equivalent.
• Proven and effective leadership with a high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams across geographies and time zones.
