Job Description

• Lead, plan and develop library IT strategies and initiatives to provide reliable and efficient information access and the best possible user experience.
• Manage, support and enhance the Library’s discovery service Primo VE, library services platform Alma, and content and access management services, and their integration/ interoperability and data interchange with campus and vendor systems, to improve processes and interfaces.

Imperial College London and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) are seeking an Assistant Programme Director for the Imperial/NTU CYber Protection for HEalthcaRe (IN-CYPHER) research programme on the cybersecurity of connected medical devices and systems. The research programme represents a collaboration between the United Kingdom and Singapore and will be based at the newly established Imperial Global Singapore (IGS) as National Research Foundations Campus for Research Excellence and Technological Enterprise (CREATE) located on the campus of the National University of Singapore. This senior role will be responsible for leading the coordination of the IN-CYPHER research team, working across the themes in collaboration with the Programme Co-Directors.

IN-CYPHER is comprised of four interacting themes, spanning the design of intelligent medical devices through to the use of their data in informing personalised healthcare. Allied to other programmes in Singapore and the UK, it represents a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of research and development into securing the vital information that flows between implantable, wearable and connected medical devices, including those currently in use, and those yet to be developed. • Modelling Standards and Frameworks Review and Enhancement. Explore improvement opportunity on the current EA modelling standards, frameworks/methodologies (e.g. Integrated Methodology for Business Transformation (iMBT), DRM, Business Reference Model (BRM)). This is to keep the MINDEF OSIT EA up-to-date with the Industry technologies and capabilities.

• EA Operations and Outreach
• Upkeep and enhance the EA repository content (architectural views, templates and scripts). Ensure project architectural views are properly stored. Capability to generate EA reports to support decision-making on architectural views related to business processes, information exchange and system design. Ensure EA templates and filters are developed to support project modelling. Capability to develop scripts to extracts data from EA repository.
• Provide regular training sessions on EA concepts and familiarization on the use of EA software modelling tool (ARIS). The outcome of this task is to improve overall understanding of EA concepts and modelling processes. The contracted staff are to support such training activities, including conducting the training (including hands on segment), setting up the required training facilities at Authority’s specified premises, preparing training content and issuing Certificate of Attendance to participants.
• Render advice, guidance, briefings and refresher training to the Authority nominated parties in EA, including the use of EA repository, EA artefacts, and creating/updating/searching/printing models.
• Change Management and Digital Communication
• Update the Intranet site to promulgate and distribute information related to EA and digital strategy on business transformation. The outcome of this task leads to better stakeholders’ awareness, understanding and support of digital initiatives.
• Support the Authority in change management activities to promulgate the use of EA in digital transformation for MINDEF/SAF. This includes designing communication packages, conducting briefings/workshops and documentations.

Skills & Requirements

• The candidate(s) should possess a Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering, Information Systems, Information Resource Management (or equivalent).
