What will you do?

In this position you will join our Environmental business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of environmental projects in various industries, including petroleum, petrochemical, marine, manufacturing, chemical, and pharmaceutical sectors.

We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.

• Visit construction sites to undertake fauna survey and site inspection.
• Conduct terrestrial and marine biodiversity surveys.
• Collect and analyze field data.
• Prepare EIA and EMMP reports.
• ​Support the Senior Consultant in proposal preparation, presentation and reports.​

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Ecology, Biodiversity, Environmental Science or any relevant degree, with at least 1 year experience in an environmental consultancy. Work experience in a consultancy with exposure to EIA/EMMP would be advantageous.
• Field experience in conducting terrestrial biodiversity survey (e.g. transect and camera trap).
• Familiarity with Singapore’s Environmental Laws and Regulations, NParks BIA guidelines, NEA and PUB guidelines etc.
• Strong written, verbal communication and data presentation skills, along with the ability to understand and solve complex issues.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and Power Point. Competency in GIS software (QGIS or ArcGIS) would be an advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle and answering to customers’ enquiries (Via e-mails or phone) using the Best Practice guidelines.
• Communicate discrepancies/ issues to team lead when necessary, Resolve in a timely.
• Liaise with internal and external customers and resolve operational issue
• Provide information to relevant parties by telephone or email
• Compile monthly report for management analysis and review
• The person is responsible for communicating with the customers on their solution needs
• Preparation of documents for customer-related reports to management, for customers enquiry.
• Provide admin support where necessary. e.g. filing, data entry, retrieval of documents, or any other duties assigned.
• Follow up and correspond with customer’s enquiry regarding any feedback, complaint and etc.
• Provide information to relevant parties by telephone or email
• Provide administrative support duties.

• Any other ad hoc requests assigned by the management.

Working Days = 5 days per week (4 weekdays + 1 weekend)

Working Hours = 10 Hours per day (9am – 7pm or 10am – 8pm)

Job Requirements and Qualification

• Min. GCE ‘O’/’N’ Level/Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma, Professional Certificate in Customer Service or etc.
• Min. 1 year & above related experience in Customer Service.
• Responsible and Polite
• Ability to work independently
