Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable (Receipt)

• Perform receipt posting accurately on all payment modes and reconciliation functions in the accounting systems
• Reconcile cash and cheques bank-in amounts with the posting reports daily
• Respond to billing inquiries from customers and resolve billing discrepanices in accordance to established procedures

Credit Control

• Perform dunning and collections follow-up for accounts in arrears
• Investigate unidentified credits, disputes and reconcile with customers when required
• Prepare reports on ageing, month-end closing and provisions of bad debt
• Participate in credit review meetings with business partners to identify and follow up on high risk accounts
• Perform profiling, risk assessment and reviews on delinquent accounts
• Propose and implement dunning strategy and process improvements

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification, with minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office

Job Responsibilities:

• Validate the completeness and accuracy of payments by ensuring that all supporting documents are in order
• Monitor integrity of system processes by conducting sampling of transactions to ensure payments are in order
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions in accordance with documented processes
• Ensure that transactional accounting postings to general ledgers are accurate for the purpose of charging to the correct expense accounts
• Review and provide data and information for periodic management reporting and to provide support for external Financial Audit Management
• Assess and propose changes to the processes, procedures and systems to achieve high level of efficiency and effectiveness
• Participate in system designs and conduct user acceptance test to ensure that system design meets the operational requirements
• Work closely with IT & relevant parties to resolve payment related issues and ensure payment timeliness

• 2 year contract (renewable based on performance and headcount needs)

Working hours:

• Mon to Fri 8am to 5:30pm

Salary:

• Up to $3000 + PB

Job Requirements:

• Minimum ITE NITEC Accounting or its equivalent
• Minimum 1 year in finance/accounting experience
• Team player, meticulous, independent and analytical
• Good communication and presentation skills

Job Description

• Generate monthly invoices, verify the accuracy of the bills and obtain approval before distribution.
• Perform daily reconciliations of e-payments and off-set against individual invoices for accurate arrears tracking.
• Track clients with outstanding balances for follow-up, and propose for write-off if criteria are met.
• Prepare and verify EFT reports prior to submission for GIRO deduction.
• Process GIRO applications and liaise with clients/ banks for failed deductions.
• Process refunds for discharged cases.
• Track, submit and reconciliate claims related to healthcare financing schemes and subsidies (ILTC, Medisave, SMF, Medifund, One-Rehab etc).
• Assist in preparing month-end and year-end management reports including P&L analysis, workload statistics etc.
• Assist in annual fee revision process.
• Assist in finance-related audits including preparing reports and liaising with auditors.
• Assume other responsibilities delegated from time to time.

Job Requirements

• min. Diploma in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
• Possess minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the healthcare industry with accounting or healthcare financing.
• Prior finance experience handling multiple entities in an organisation would be advantageous as well
• Team player and able to work independently as well
