Requirements:

About the role:

The Finance Executive will join our Regional TabSquare Finance team (based in Singapore). The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a proven track record in managing finance work.

Scope of Responsibilities

• Review and validate signed contracts for completeness and accuracy
• Preparing and sending invoices to customers
• Address and resolve billing queries promptly and professionally
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, collaborating with internal teams
• Following up with customers and ensuring timely payment of invoices and receipt of withholding tax slips from customers whenever applicable
• Checking and posting of receipts to the accounting system
• Posting of supplier invoices into the accounting system and computing withholding tax (if any) and preparing payment for suppliers
• Preparation and filing of withholding tax slips, whenever applicable
• Preparation of tax filings
• Manage relationships with external accounts and tax advisors. Facilitate communication and information exchange to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly schedules and help out with monthly closing activities
• Take on various other financial projects as required
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned to Finance related areas

Minimum requirement

• Degree holder in Accountancy or related disciplines
• Fresh Finance graduates are also welcome. 2-3 years of experience in financial accounting is preferred.
• Experience in the e-commerce or Software-as-a-Service (“SaaS”) industry a plus
• Demonstrable knowledge in statutory reporting requirements and IFRS standard
• User of Quickbooks (or similar accounting systems), and/or SAP will be an advantage
• Proficient in MS Excel and strong analytical abilities, experience with Google Suite is a plus
• Strong critical thinking, employs a proactive approach and can-do attitude to problem-solving
• Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
