Overview

To support investigators in conducting clinical research according to study protocol, Singapore Guideline for Good Clinical Practice (SGGCP) and other applicable regulatory and ethical requirements and hospital policies.

Job Responsibilities

Research projects administration - Process and manage qualitative and quantitative study data, including the followings:

• Plan, organise and co-ordinate study activities workflow, including participant recruitment and coordination of study teams via regular meetings
• Help PIs devise a data management plan for both qualitative and quantitative studies
• Be able to help with data collection with patients, including the administration of survey and the conduction of qualitative interviews
• Handle data entry (including transcription for qualitative studies) and validation of study data, e.g., ensure that data is correctly recorded.
• Maintain records and manage e-filing system for documents related to specific research projects.
• Process collected data for analysis purposes, including the maintenance and handling of data employing Excel and basic functions of SPSS
• Help conduct literature searches; perform article srcreening for systematic reviews.
• Liaise with stakeholders from other areas (e.g., finance) and coordinate related logistics. Ensure timeliness in making payments to patients/volunteers.
• Track utilisation of budget. Document and tabulate financial payments received and / or made to support the study; assist with procurement;
• Maintain Investigator Site File and ensure that all study documents are complete and up to date.
• During meetings, collate agendas, prepare materials, record minutes and track progress of follow up items.
• Prepare regular reports to HOD and research unit on progress of projects; track achievements and contribute towards preparing regular progress reports to NMRC.

Patient/Research Subject/Healthy Volunteers Management

• Assist investigators in the screening and recruitment of potential research subjects/patients/healthy volunteers as according to trial protocol.
• Communicate to patients and volunteers on project demands and obtain informed consent.
• Maintain and update screening log & enrollment logs.
• Schedule appointments for patients/subjects.
• Ensure patients’/subject’s compliance to trial medication (if any).
• Perform venepuncture and cannulation as required according to trial protocol if any. Ensure compliance to safety procedures when performing such procedures.

Ensure projects’ compliance

• Maintain database of patients’/subjects’ data and ensure compliance with confidentiality and PDPA requirements.
• Ensure compliance with the SGGCP and other applicable regulatory and ethical requirements and restructured / polyclinics’ policies if applicable.
• Assist investigators in applying for ethics review and to the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) for clinical trial certificates (if required)

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or nursing
• Preferably with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in recruiting patients for research projects in a healthcare institution.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills.
• Preferably have some experience in conducting focus-group interviews
• Excellent team player with ability to work independently and proactively.
• Meticulous with an eye for detail.

The Executive / Senior Executive will be responsible to maintain a high level of service standards in the department of Housekeeping. To assist the Executive Housekeeper in the daily running of the department and maintain a high level of service to the patients and to ensure continuous improvements to work processes for both Khoo Teck Puat and Yishun Community Hospital.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(A) SPECIFIC

1. Assist to ensure department operates and complies with applicable laws and regulations.

2. Assess, identify and mitigate risks that may hinder operations, reputation, safety and financial well-being of the organisation.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(A) SPECIFIC

Support the Assistant Designated Institutional Officer and Program Director in overseeing the activities associated with Graduation Medical Education in the Education Development Office. This involves:

• Provide administrative support on trainees’ rotation to the hospital, on-the job training, assessment and evaluation and any other training needs of trainee doctors.

• Support in clinical training matters such as orientation, collation of assessment forms, tracking training hours and log books of trainees and Faculty appointments.

• Ensure all necessary evaluation takes place & submit in a timely manner

• Provide secretariat support for meetings with program stakeholders

• Assume the role as the point of contact for trainee doctors and Faculty

• Coordinate department and hospital wide faculty development activities and other training courses for the department

As part of the Academic Medicine Innovation Institute (AMII) secretariat team, you will coordinate activities related to AMII. Working under the supervision of the Manager, you will engage with the Innovation Council and coordinate with Priority Area Leads to drive healthcare innovation efforts across the Academic Medical Centre, facilitating partnerships between internal and external stakeholders.

You will assist in planning and organising AMII meetings and events, including AMII EXCO meetings, Innovation Council meetings, Priority Areas meetings, and the annual Innovation Retreat and Workshop. Key Responsibilities -

1. Participate in end-to-end projects for system implementation, integration, upgrade and support of NetReveal systems.

2. Provide knowledge of the functionality of one or more core NetReveal modules (such as ETL, Builder, Workbench, Visualizer, Live, Scenario Manager, WLM, Services Manager and Application Builder)

3. Participate in the technical workshops during the analysis and design stages of project and collaborate with Architects, Security and Development Lead to ensure solution design complies with enterprise design principles, security and control standards
