The Skills

Educated to degree level in Electronics Engineering or Computer Sciences (MEng, BEng), working towards, or already be, a member of a professional institute. 

You will be aiming for a career in ELV and technology systems design and construction. 

Minimum 5- 7 years of experience working in an engineering design consultancy.

· Knowledge and experience in designing and managing Extra Low Voltage distribution systems including but not limited to:

• Structured Cabling System

• Video Conference and Audio-Visual Equipment, Public Address

· Design of all assigned project drawings in accordance to company and project instructions (Single line diagrams, installation details, wiring diagrams, etc.)

· Conduct site visits and assessment, as required to execute design work when required.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications

· Working knowledge of document production using Autodesk software as Revit.  Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.

· Able to work on AutoCAD drawings.

· Understanding of 3D architectural model with basic skillsets to navigate and work on 3D Revit Models.

· Be self-motivated and good communication skills including written and spoken.

· Well equipment with report writing skills, prepare specification without any support.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular site inspections and talks with Company’s employees and customers. Meet with end users on a regular basis.
• Assist to maintain efficient and accurate records for quality, cost control and personnel in line with best management practice. Adhere to budget levels of labour and other costs.
• Assist to Manager to implement the selection, training, motivation, disciplines, safety and general welfare of the staff under his/her control.

• Monitor all Health & Safety Environmental procedures and practices and report incident cases to immediate supervisor and client whenever a mishap happened at the jobsite.
• Ensure that the image of the contact reflects the professional image of the Company at all times.
• Liaise with HQ regarding the purchase of operating supplies and capital equipment.
• Assist to maintain equipment uniform and stores in good orders.
