Overview

Resident Physicians and Senior Resident Physicians are experienced doctors with a recognized postgraduate qualification and who have completed the 3-year basic postgraduate specialist training. They are expected to undertake considerable responsibilities in addition to those of Medical and House Officers.

We are looking for a full-time ballet instructor. The instructor’s roles include:

• Plan, prepare and teach assigned classes according to the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus and/or under the directive of the Principal.
• Keep updated with developments in the RAD syllabus and teaching resources, and make relevant changes to class plans and activities.
• Prepare, coach and register students for RAD examinations including examinations groupings and scheduling.
• Present during the RAD examinations period to supervise students who are attending examinations or assisting other teachers, as assigned by the Principal/Management.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing appropriate dance pedagogy methods to create a conducive learning experience for students.
• Observe, evaluate and maintain accurate and complete records of student’s progress and development, and provide feedback on work and students’ progress to the Principal.
• Communicate regularly to students and parents regarding student’s progress where necessary.
• Attend staff/teachers and parents’ meetings, as and when necessary.
