• Monitor customer spare requirement and liaise with various departments to activate, track, and expedite on the replenishment of on-site inventory upon usage.
• Act as customer account planner and point of contact for customer enquiries on material requirement.
• Initiate loan/exchange/purchase activities to support material shortages.
• Monitor EDD and AWB information and accurately update the Web portal.
• Weekly reporting at Customer operations meeting on spares status.
• Raise Purchase Req for Class C and D components.
• Follow up on operations spares issuance for closure; handling of administrative functions relating to customer’s spare orders.
• Providing timely responses to customers’ queries and requests.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Polytechnic Diploma in an Engineering Field.
• Working experience in material management in the aviation industry would be an advantage. Candidates with experience in inventory management in other industries would also be considered.
• At least 2 years working/professional experience. Working experience in the aviation industry would be preferred.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good human relations skills.
• Ability to learn fast and willingness to take up additional responsibilities.
• Proficiency with SAP will be advantageous.

• Assist in the preliminary sourcing of repair vendors for parts supported under SIAEC’s ITM programs. To assist the executive in evaluating repair vendor quotes received under the various repair sourcing exercises and provide recommendations for approval.
• Supports repair vendor sourcing activities for both ITM programs and 3rd party hangar checks.
• Follows up with quality on vendor evaluation and approval into SIAEC vendor listing.
• Monitors approved repair vendor listing to maintain currency of vendor network.
• Maintains preferred vendor listing to facilitate ease of repair order creation as well as updates outhouse maintenance contracts in SAP.
• Supports executive in generating necessary data for management reporting.

Requirements:

• Receive pre-alert through email from sales support and overseas agents

• Monitor shipments (arrival date, time, short landed, survey, missing)

• Transfer and create job information into company in-house system

• Break-bulk console and direct consignments
