This role is accountable for maximising retention and building and delivering tailored strategy for growth from assigned Strategic Key Accounts.

Maintaining and growing the business with assigned Strategic Key Account(s) though aligning understanding and delivery of customer requirements across all Lloyd’s Register’s (LR) functions ensuring each role contributes to creating customer value: embed ‘client centricity’.

The role

• Develop a deep understanding of the client’s business, strategies, markets, competitive landscape and develop a One-LR key account strategy for the nominate client(s), including a named account team with clear delivery objectives and accountabilities.
• Craft client-focused strategies that deliver positive impact for the client, which will lead to sustainable and profitable growth for LR.
• Create bundled solutions to meet express and tacit client needs for key accounts, engaging cross-company as required, to deliver real business value propositions
• Maintain a close relationship with the key account Executive Sponsor and senior commercial leaders across LR to maximise benefits and deliver on jointly agreed objectives.
• To manage and co-ordinate the building of multi-level relationships between LR and the client organisation.
• Develop and implement a relationship management strategy for each strategic account to ensure that relationships are developed and strengthened across all functions and executive levels, to manage and mitigate supporters, blockers, decision makers and gatekeepers, to remove single points of failure, build contingency, and to ensure the right level contact is taking place in a managed and proactive way.
• Build, maintain and communicate a Strategic Key Account plan, including a strategic vision (3-5 years) and short and medium delivery objectives aligned with global strategy, anchored with a cross functional delivery team and clear KPIs and metrics.
• Identify new business opportunities and lead the collaboration effort with internal stakeholders to identify and realise cross-stream business opportunities ensuring LR is best placed to win.
• Develop clear commercial strategies that create true ‘win- win’ for all parties and lead to profitable growth in the account(s)
• Manage conflict at all levels, driving through acceptable outcomes for all parties.
• To effectively manage a dynamic virtual Strategic Account Team, and bring in skills and competences as required by the changing needs of the client
• Deploy effective negotiating and selling strategies in the key account and internally, using other resources as required to achieve outcomes
• Lead promotion and communication of LR products and services to client directly via KAM team, and arrange appropriate visits, presentations and local /global seminars as required. Working with the CMO team to develop marketing strategy for key account(s).
• Monitor, report on, upload to SFL and disseminate as appropriate all client meetings and visits as well as all aspects of competitor activity for client and general client activity. Understand the analysed patterns of client meetings and develop strategies to act on them.
• Leverage and incorporate the insights provided by the Insight and Segment teams to improve understanding of the market context, the strategic context and the changing landscape which may affect key account objectives positively or negatively.

What you bring

· Significant knowledge and understanding of business strategy and goal setting and implementation.

· Experience of seafaring or ship-management (ant ship type) is highly preferred

· Previous experience in a Classification Society on a Commercial Role is considered an advantage

· Demonstrable experience of leading Key Accounts; development of Key Account plans and strategies, building and maintaining client relationships, customer focused mindset.

· Ability to research and analyze market dynamics, interpretation of data and determination of likely outcomes and associated actions required.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn to boost brand visibility and engagement.
• Develop persuasive copy for various marketing materials such as website content, email campaigns and digital ads, ensuring brand messaging consistency.
• Collaborate closely with Product/Sales team to understand product features and benefits, translating them into impactful digital content.

Requirements

• Min. Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field

• Experience in data analysis and performance tracking to optimise campaigns

Job Description

Shared Services serves as professional IT partners to the University's departments, providing reliable, high-quality, and responsive user-centric services. As part of a dynamic team, you will take on dual roles as an IT Business Partner and Associate Architect. Your responsibilities will include managing day-to-day operational and systems support for a cluster of research institutions and faculties. Additionally, you will be involved in architecting and administering security operation tools to enhance the security posture of systems campus-wide.

Duties and Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of the Associate Architect include:

• Perform routine administration tasks for systems and security tools, ensuring they meet business needs and that system improvements are successfully implemented.
• Implement remedial actions for system and IT component failures.
• Respond to service requests and business IT requirements for cluster groups, providing IT solutions across various technologies, including standalone physical servers with GPU, storage arrays, virtualization, distributed networks, firewalls, network-attached storage, web servers, application services, and database technologies.
• Engage in system capacity planning, fault management, performance and configuration management, software upgrades, and applying security patches.
• Plan and oversee the upgrade of infrastructure components and tools before they reach end-of-life (EOL) or end-of-support (EOS).
• Evaluate future technologies and assess the suitability of software and hardware upgrades and technology solutions.
• The duties and responsibilities of IT Business Partner include:
• Manage the duty roster of assigned staff supporting the IT needs of the department cluster.
• Ensure service requests are followed up by the appropriate service team.
• Engage, support and advise business users by proactively following up on issues, feedback and escalation to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with Central IT team and SMEs to provide expert advice to business users on IT matters, including IT policies, Operations, compliances and other related topics
• Drive and oversee the resolution of operations and any critical incidents impacting IT service deliverables.
• Establish priorities for IT operation and support activities, initiatives, and incident resolution.
• Continuously review and streamline on processes to enhance productivity and improve business user’s experience.
• Monitor and track the achievements and key performance indicators (KPIs) of both the NUS team and vendors.
• Enforce processes and systems to ensure that all infrastructure systems, platforms, data, and databases comply with existing regulatory and organizational policies and compliance requirements.
• Provide input for IT operations and support strategy planning.
• Lead and oversee the team in audit response and closure of audit findings.
• Determine and implement corrective actions to address non-compliances with SLAs, KPIs, and audit findings.

Qualifications

1. A university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. Over 8 years of hands-on experience in IT, specifically in systems administration, virtualization, network and firewall administration, web server technologies, systems security, operational and security tools management.
3. More than 3 years of experience in providing infrastructure solutions.
4. Strong knowledge and understanding of various operational and security frameworks and best practices, such as ITIL and ISO27001.
5. A fast learner and a team player with a passion for applying technology to solve business problems.
6. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to delve deeply into issues when required.
7. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various levels of stakeholders.
9. Proficient technical knowledge and hands-on experience in at least one or more of the following technologies:

- Linux and/or Windows Servers Operating Systems administration.
- Microsoft Windows Clustering and Active Directory.
- Systems Security and Operational tools such as HCL BigFix, Trend Micro Vision One, and Splunk.
- VMware virtualization and public cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
