We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Retail Manager to join our team! As a Retail Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day store operations and managing store’s staff.

Retail Manager duties and responsibilities

• Plan and implement the overall store strategy
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop a marketing store strategy
• Work with store security guard to investigate any suspicious activity
• Recruit and hire new store employees
• Train and evaluate store employees
• Create a healthy and enjoyable store work environment
• Determine and set basic store KPIs
• Track and report on store KPIs
• Train store employees on corporate policies and procedures
• Develop relationships with key suppliers and vendors
• Use the appropriate software to keep track of inventory losses and/or shrinkage
• Suggest new operational strategies to improve store’s performance and productivity
• Work with analyst to review profit and loss figures (P&L)

Job Description:

• Supervise and lead the construction team to lay down construction milestone.

• Manage construction activities, ensuring timely and smooth progress of the operations.

• Responsible for implementing the work plan and attending project meetings

• Resolve design site problems encountered during the construction period.

• Producing site progress report to management.

• Monitor and ensure subcontractors comply with specified requirements.

• Identify and comply with all applicable statutory/ regulatory requirements related to project.

• Coordination and sequencing of works of different subcontractors.

• Identify possible risks to project and stakeholders as well as create contingency plans to mitigate these risks.

• Respond swiftly to work delays, emergencies and other problems.

• Clear communication to external parties including client, subcontractors, consultant, vendor etc on project needs, requirements and schedule by means of daily construction oversight.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.

• At least 12 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

• Preferrable 12 years of project management experience in the high rise projects and mixed development in building projects

• Required Skill(s): leadership, technical, planning, coordination, multi-task

• Preferably Manager specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.

To perform sales duties:

a. To provide customers with professional advice and consultation on spectacles;

b. To do daily shop operations, retails sales, inventory controls and other relevant duties.

Entry Level Basic Salary is $5,400 per month

Initially 10 days Annual Leave on the 3rd month of service upon employment (prorated on incomplete year)
