Your Responsibilities

• Involve in end-to-end projects, providing technical support and solutions to the functional consultant or project manager in dealing with customers to setting the next level requirements.
• Transform business system design and deliver quality solutions as per client’s requirements.
• Timely support with ongoing client engagements by being efficient in producing, testing, and deploying programs and applications based on requirements to improve existing software.
• Recommend and implement improvements for existing developments to satisfy guidelines and data privacy regulations through well-built content management.
• Evaluate transactional data to advise foreknowledge and practical strategies to promote business expansion.
• Gather, assess, organise and update on technical documentation to close gaps and fix/locate bugs in the system.

About you

Your Knowledge, Skills and Qualification

• Passionate about programming knowledge, enjoy debugging, creative in problem solving literally and figuratively, and attracted by IT and enjoys interacting with techies.
• Have certification in OpenText with proven experience in Content Server/ECM implementations.
• Keen to understand business challenges; have a nose for entrepreneurship and new innovative technologies to provide high value solutions to clients.
• Good to have some knowledge on EIM (like OpenText) but not a must.
• Effective problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills with customer focused mindset to explain complex matters in a simple way.

Your Experience

• Preferably have some development experience or exposure to the development environment in any software systems. preferably in OpenText.
• Experienced in troubleshooting and debugging for the consultant developer.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills to work with clients.

• Be open to learning new things and excited to enrich your knowledge.

What you’ll be doing:

• Design, develop and maintain source codes in DSO pipeline
• Ensure seamless integration with external systems within MCC or other networks (e.g. OneNS moments integration, OneOASIS)
• Strong track record in software systems design and implementation
• Optimize apps for performance, security and backend processing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment to application functionalities
• Deliver quality software code that meets the in-house coding standards

What you’ll need:

• Diploma and/or degree in Computer Science, Computing, Cyber Security or IT or any equivalent
• At least 3 years’ experience in system design and implementation in cloud with AWS technologies
• Experience in developing & maintaining secure
• Java Backends with the Spring Framework & Spring Boot
• React (Web) and React Native (Mobile) Front-End in Typescript
• Spring applications based on Spring Security
• Experience in setup & administration of SQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server preferred)
• Experience in doing performance tests with jMeter
• Experience in technical writing to document developed system
• Experience in Application Security, able to understand security reports and make changes based on threatspresented as well as explain
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines, in order to manage existing gitlab repos and build flows
• Able to investigate and raise issues found to the relevant parties
• Experience in Agile methodologiesand use supporting tools such as JIRA/Confluence

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with educators, subject experts, policymakers, and other relevant professionals to develop quality curricula, instructional strategies and learning resources
• Review, update and make relevant revisions to the existing curriculum to ensure that the curricula and instructional design remain current and relevant
• Review curriculum development and material selection in alignment to MINDS learning framework
• Work closely with MINDS entities to field-test and evaluate the implementation of the curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment across MINDS Adult Centres to ensure quality delivery across MINDS
• Support the implementation of the curriculum through staff training and development of quality teaching-learning resources
• Conduct feedback reviews with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate effectiveness of the curriculum and instructional design, and provide recommendations for improvement
• Take on administrative and project management duties and obligations responsibly as part of overall curriculum development and management.
• Train and/or facilitate training of staff in the use of course materials to enhance teaching and the application of instructional techniques to achieve clients learning
• Support training staff in the understanding and application of educational and curriculum plans, strategies, and materials
• Work with training staff to be able to develop educational/ training and transition goals
• Work with training staff to develop the learning units that translate the curriculum areas into assessments and learning activities
• Plan, research and develop curriculum to support the review of curricula, improve the effectiveness of teaching and learning and explore strategies to overcome the challenges encountered by centres, clients and training staff
• Collect, organise and interpret statistical information related to curriculum development to help make sense of trends, practices and help guide decisions.
• Make recommendations about the methods and ways to obtain and analyze data to improve quality and the efficiency of data systems
• Work closely with the MINDS entities to support curricula innovation during the review and revision of the existing curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment

• A masters or degree in education, curriculum, educational technology, educational psychology, instructional design, communication or related field; a background in teaching and/or professional development, knowledge of current curricula models, instructional design frameworks and assessment methods

• At least 5 years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in a similar educational setting
• Experience in special needs and curriculum development
• Demonstrated experience in applied research and data analytics
• High level of written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders (e.g. teachers, training officers, AHPs and management)
• Experience in writing journal papers, technical reports, position papers and practice briefs with minimal guidance (Track record of publications is highly valued)
