Job Requirement

• Possess a certificate in Safety Coordinator’s Course or Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health
• Possess a Risk Management level 2
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Construction
• Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability.
• Able to work on short notice
• Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills
• Preferably own a vehicle, but not compulsory

1) Assist the Snr Shipping Executive to prepare shipping documents, coordinate with forwarders and contractors.

2) Perform transactions in SAP & iWMS - Receiving, Adjustment, Creation of item numbers & POs & Others.

3) Prepare monthly inventory reports.

4) Assist the warehouse supervisor in checking, organizing and filing of documents like DOs and etc.

5) To check and monitor all DOs are returned with acknowledgement.

6) To administer the department petty cash and co-ordination with contractors.

7) Assist warehouse personnel to bin goods when they are delivered to our warehouse when required. Also unpacking/packing of cartons if required due to shortage of manpower.

8) Liaise with vendor on testing/maintenance of fire alarm system and ensure all fire extinguishers are in proper order with valid certifications.

9) Ensure data entry into system i.e. (WMS & SAP is performed punctually and accurately.

10) Generate timely/monthly reports to various persons as required especially for month end closing.

11) To attain any training for skills upgrading whenever assigned by management.

12) To carry out any duties/assignments/responsibilities that is assigned by superior, HOD or management whenever instructed.

Job Description

• Develop KPI and obtaining approval ensure execution
• Coordinate import operational issues
• Liaising with Logistics Service Providers to achieve the most cost-effective shipping option.
• Delivery monitoring & fulfillment
• Assist in overall Site Procurement requirements for both Direct & Indirect materials
• Assist with Logistics documentation/delivery tracking/receiveing
• Ensures timely and fast deliveries of ordered materials
• Tracks order acknowledgement, prepares and communicates shortage and backlog reports, and provides visibility of potential interruptions to internal customers
• Warehouse management
• Tracks Site orders and confirms lead times, delivery dates, and costs
• Reviews, updates, and maintains purchase orders until they are closed
• Ensures Site orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts
• Other admin tasks and annual stocktake

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma / Degree in Logistics Management or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3-5 Years of experience in Logistics & Warehouse in manufacturing industry.
• Good in shipping documentation and Microsoft Office
• A professional degree in Logistics Management would be advantageous
• Experience in a similar role / managing a group of people experience is a plus
