Job Duties:

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and order fulfilment
• Implement and maintain efficient inventory control systems to minimize stock discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement best practices for a hazard-free work environment
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate product movements and meet production demands
• Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, optimizing transportation routes and ensuring timely deliveries
• Work closely with shipping carriers, customs, and freight forwarders to facilitate international shipments
• Monitor and track shipments, addressing any delays or issues promptly to maintain a smooth logistics flow
• Implement cost-effective logistics solutions without compromising on quality and service
• Lead and motivate a team of warehouse and logistics professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide training, and identify opportunities for skill development
• Ensure adequate staffing levels and manage scheduling to meet operational requirements
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to implement and uphold product quality standards throughout the supply chain
• Conduct regular checks on warehouse conditions, ensuring proper storage conditions for seafood products
• Implement measures to minimize product damage and losses during handling and transportation

You need to have/be:

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Proven experience in warehouse and logistics management, preferably in the seafood or food processing industry
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, distribution, and logistics principles
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to seafood handling and transportation
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems and logistics software
