The applicant will be assigned to Engineering Team and will be involved in R&D projects in a laboratory environment and semi-industrial field piloting. The applicant will

· Develop Basic Engineering Package and/or Front End Engineering Design (FEED) packages

· Develop specification and data sheet for skid, unit operation, and integration with plant.

· Process and sizing calculation to meet design requirement.

· Develop control philosophy, safety interlock, and quality control.

· Develop technical specification and RFQ to support equipment procurement.

· Able to lead on FAT, installation, and commissioning of equipment by working closely with customer, contractor, and equipment fabricator.

· Work closely with operation team to develop SOP and safety protocol on site.

· Prepare project costing, proposal, and report.

Requirements and Qualifications

· B.Sc. or equivalent experience in chemical engineering or related field.

· 2-3 years of experience in chemical industries and/or separation technologies is preferred.

· Able to handle chemicals, perform HAZOP analysis, and with strong safety awareness.

· Good knowledge of problem-solving and project management.

· Strong communication skills and report writing.

· Able to work independently (self-driven) and within a team environment.

· Creative, resourceful, and efficient in managing and executing multiple projects.

· Prior experience in water, wastewater, or solvent industry is a plus.

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and implementing data solutions that meet business requirements. Also, it includes designing data schemas/data pipeline and systems to collect, manage and convert raw data into useful data system, improving data flow and acquisition processes, and integrating new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures.

• Developing, testing, and maintaining architectures, such as large-scale processing systems and databases. It includes optimizing data retrieval, implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and ensuring consistent data delivery across multiple sources and platforms.

• Managing and optimizing data storage through SQL and NoSQL databases, data lakes and data warehouses to ensure data is stored efficiently for easy retrieval and analysis.

• Implementing data quality checks to ensure high quality and accuracy. Also, to ensure data accessibility for analytic and business intelligence purposes.

• Collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure they have the necessary data to perform their duties effectively as well as to improve data flow efficiency and reliability.

Technical skills required:

• Programming skills: Python, JAVA, or Scala

• Expertise in SQL and experience with SQL database design

• Experience with big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.

• Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing and building ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines.

• Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

At the same time, as a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Collecting data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases/data systems. Also, cleaning and pre-processing raw data from various source for data analysis. This includes dealing with missing values, outliers and transforming data into a usable format.

• Using statistical techniques to analyze data and generate useful business insights. Also, it involves identifying, analyzing and interpreting trends and patterns in complex data sets.

• Developing and maintaining interactive visual reports, dashboards and analytics using tools like Tableau, Power BI or excel.

• Work with various departments to understand their data needs and provide insights.

• Interpreting the data and turning analysis into actionable insights.

Technical skills required:

• Proficiency in statistical analysis and statistical packages (like Python and R).

• Experience in querying databases and use statistical computer language: SQL, Python, etc.

• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc.

• Ability to articulate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Organize and facilitate PHA (HAZOP Studies) and PHA revalidation and complete all relevant in a timely manner

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Bachelor degree in chemicals / process safety / mechanical / environmental engineering or science (pharmaceutical or chemistry).
• Technical know-how in process safety engineering, QRA, or PHA is essential
• 5 Years relevant experience within the pharmaceutical API or related industries; incumbent as technical role with good knowledge of dispersion modelling, QRA is advantageous.
• Good knowledge and application of stipulated codes of practice (e.g.ANSI/ISA-18.2-2009, SS506 part 3, API510, Singapore Fire Safety Act)  is advantageous
