We are looking for a motivated, brilliant and passionate local PR expert to join the PR & Advocacy team. The PR Executive is to be fully responsible day-to-day for all areas of PR, events, and influencers management, focusing on driving the brand and product strategy for engaging media, influencers, makeup artists, celebrities and socialites. You must be able to demonstrate strong local key stakeholder networks and build new relationships, negotiate with influencers and creatively capture the imagination of influencers via tactical campaigns. This role will work very closely with the Global PR & Advocacy team and will report to the Senior PR & Advocacy Manager to develop, implement, report and analyse strategic regional and local PR plans to launch new stores and markets, NPD, brand partnerships and brand campaigns.

About the role

• Lead and support the planning and execution of local PR & Advocacy plans across Singapore, Thailand and India
• Able to ideate, organize and execute record breaking and flawless launch activity and events
• Support local strategy development, including taking an active role as part of the taskforce, attend brainstorms, gather and organize information and assist with proposals
• Manage specific projects that are part of larger campaign and implementation of PR plans, provide creative input and approach of innovative brand awareness initiatives
• Develop excellent working relationships with cross-functional teams (marketing, digital, commerce, education etc) to provide PR support as required
• Able to analyse campaign success and manage the collation of reports that the wider business is well informed on local PR & Advocacy initiatives
• Manage regional and local master stakeholder list, maintain key stakeholders’ profile and relationships e.g. media, celebrities, socialites, influencers, makeup artists, develop new contacts that are important to Charlotte and the brand
• Manage the regional press office, including press materials and collaterals, PR calendar, NPD product ordering, creative mailer and seeding, media pitching, product loan and shooting, makeup artist bookings
• Project manage influencer content collaboration and affiliate projects, content brief to ensure quality and result-driven
• Manage budget tracker and POs, ensure adhering to company policies
• Stay abreast of industry trends, able to think critically and provide strategic insights, collate competitor activities for the wider business
• Take proactive ownership and map out regional action plans and deadlines

Key Selection Criteria

• Minimum 2 - 3 years of PR experience
• A proven in house or agency background in Beauty PR is essential
• Solid organizational skills, great attention to detail and result-driven
• Have a flexible and professional attitude, a team player
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner
• Strong connections with local media, celebrities, socialites and influencers
• Good presentation and communication skills

• Responsible and accountable for all operations in relation to the Reservations area of the Hotel whilst on duty
• All computer input, manual filing procedures, and statistical information relevant to reservations must be of high quality
• You should strive to provide the most comprehensive and accurate information, to telephone callers, guests, and other staff and the Department of the Hotel
• Collaborate with the Front Office and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Responsible for ensuring that clear and constant communication lines are kept with all staff, areas, and other Departments

The Raffles Service Agent delivers friendly and professional service that meets guest’s reservation experience expectations prior to their arrival.

Primary Responsibilities

Delivers Friendly and Professional Service

• Ensures smooth operation of Raffles Service department by attending to incoming calls, fax and emails that are pertaining to room reservation.
• Obtains all the necessary information to complete a room reservation in the Opera system, i.e. stay dates, flight details, rates, special requests and reservation notes.
• Completes the reservation process by combining all reservation details (including any Food and Beverage or Spa arrangements) and sending a confirmation to the guest.

Focuses on Guest Experience

• Supports guest’s decision to proceed with the reservation by providing accurate information on the price, room type, availability and the amenities.
• Is well versed with the preference of the regular guests and provide them with the consistent service anticipating their needs in advance.

Involvement in Wider Job Function Actions/Relationships

• Supports the Raffles Service colleagues to achieve upsell goals in various revenue streams.
• Coordinates with other departments (Front Office, Concierge, Food and Beverage, Raffles Spa, Housekeeping and Butler) on the guest’s needs and requirements.
• Works closely with Revenue department to be aware of the occupancy of the hotel (i.e. sold out dates, blackout dates and the need periods).
• Advises Raffles Service Manager of any deviations in rate applications or reservations arrangement.
• Maintains an accurate and updated filing system of all correspondence.
• Is familiar with hotel’s credit policies and handles billing instructions correctly.
• Performs clerical and administrative duties.
• Adheres to Raffles Hotel Singapore and Room Reservations department standard operating procedures, guidelines and grooming standards.
• Supports Accor Corporate programs, such as Planet 21.
• Ensures service standards and individual performance are aligned with Accor Hotels Values.

As the Regional PR Assistant Manager, you are responsible for press communication and activations to drive brand awareness, traffic, as well as building media relationships. ​ In this role, you adapt global brand initiatives for regional markets to secure press coverage, media engagement, while growing the brand community across all digital and physical channels.​

What you will do:

• Lead PR agencies in the relevant markets to ensure that opportunities are maximized and manage the media enquiries
• Work with Regional PR Manager, develop and implement localized communication/PR/media relations strategy for the markets
• Establish workflow and asset co-ordination to provide the local PR agencies with all relevant brand info and strategic updates such as PR plans, press releases, imagery, samples, seeding plans, and suchlike
• Work with affiliate Marketing Team to support with the influencer strategy and seeding across the defined markets
• Manage sample movement regionally and be the point of contact for regional PR teams, agencies, and Showroom teams
• Collaborate with local teams to identify suitable celebrities and KOLs for each campaign to meet brand objective and business goal
• Support the local teams and agencies to implement press gifting and seeding strategies
• Monitor and track results against KPIs and produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for relevant projects

• Report directly to the Duty Manager, the Guest Service Agent is directly responsible for the day-to-day operations of the reception whilst on duty. 
• The Guest Service Agent is also to ensure that guests and visitors are made to feel comfortable and welcome “at home” on arriving and departing the Hotel.
• Responsible for the supervision of driveway and daily operation and to ensure a consistently high standard of guest service.
• Responsible for Information desk activities (including guest queries, information, mail, and messages).
• Identify the person to whom he/she is speaking, and the subject of the request, and direct the guest accordingly.

• To input reservations into the Opera reservation system, ensuring all details are accurate and complete in line with agreed departmental standards.
• To update any special requests and billing details in Opera.
• To provide polite and friendly responses to all incoming telephone inquiries.
• To be fully aware of the hotel’s facilities and pass the information on to the customers, and maximize hotel revenue by taking every opportunity to up-sell products and hotel services wherever possible.
• To process all inquiries and reservation confirmations on the same day as receipt.

• To maintain accurate filing systems for all correspondence within the department.
• To build a good rapport with customers / regular bookers on the telephone to encourage future loyalty and business opportunities.

Scope of Position: 
Providing most suitable solutions to customers by understanding their requirements and strategically selecting service providers while maximizing profitability. This position will involve activities relating to procurement, service provider management and sales/ business development.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:  

Operations

• Understand export processes in order to accurately identify requested scope of pricing and accurate pricing
• Understand and comply to company policies and accordance with government regulations.
• Timely responses to emails (within 24 hours) and voicemails (within 1 hour) (internal and external)
• Timely responds on day-to-day pricing enquiries and RFQs from external and internal customers
• Screening of MK denial parties before quoting
• Monitor and apply appropriate carrier contract per customer to maximize the shipment profitability
• Carrier allocation management per carrier against the weekly allocation report to ensure customer service uses the correct carriers and maximizing the profitability
• Assisting booking management – placing bookings with carrier, secure confirmation, verify cost from carriers against contract
• Rate filing management 
• Good record keeping of pricing folder
• Be alert of market situation and provide timely update of market changes of different trades
• Escalation of problems to Management when necessary

Service Provider Management

• Able to negotiate and obtain competitive rates and service route from carriers and co-loaders
• Procure strategically in the market to cater with customer’s needs and requirements
• Build good business rapport/relationship with carrier, co-loaders, and service providers
• Organize, gather feedbacks, and lead quarterly service provider performance review

Business Development

• Contribute to business development per assignment basis
• Interact with our customers virtual or in person to understand their requirements and offer solutions at competitive pricing, meeting customer service expectations
• Transition and implementation of new business to customer service
• Take up additional tasks as required to meet the Department’s needs.
