Summary

The Customer Service Executive is responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction through assisting customers and providing support to the Company’s Sales.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop good relationship with existing and new customers.
• Assist customers by contributing information and recommendations relevant to the customer and providing follow through support.
• Cold call to existing and potential customers to support sales growth.
• Attend to all new enquiries received.
• Assist sales and marketing with product promotion and marketing events.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on it.
• Responsible to update on product availability.
• Responsible for the preparations of sales documents.
• Update customers on delivery status and outstanding orders.
• Collaborate and liaise closely with internal departments for sales and other functions.
• Manage customer relations through the use of specialized CRM system.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• At least 2 years of customer service experience diploma or degree in any field.
• Good interpersonal and communications skills.
• Service oriented
• Excellent writing skills and telephone etiquette.
• Able to communicate in 3rd language is added advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office, and experienced in NAV systems is an added advantage.

Job Scope:

• Lead the design, optimization, and troubleshooting of chemical processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety
• Manage and oversee chemical engineering projects from concept to execution, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and specifications
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members in solving complex engineering problems
• Use tools like Aspen HYSYS or other simulation software to model and analyze chemical processes for improvements and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines in all processes
• Lead or participate in R&D efforts to develop new products, processes, or technologies to improve operations and meet customer demands
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, quality, and R&D departments, to integrate solutions and improve operations
• Address and resolve process-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency
• Monitor and maintain quality control of chemical products, ensuring they meet the required standards
• Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and training to develop their technical skills and knowledge
• Contribute to cost-saving initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting improvements to reduce operational costs
• Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to optimize chemical production and reduce waste

Requirements:

• Sales experience in General Industries. Related experience in M&E Industries and Semiconductor Industries is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating, bids, and engineering requirements.
• Experience in M&E contract, documentation and having an established network of vendors, suppliers & contractors will be an advantage
• Candidates with more years of relevant experience and proven good records may be considered for higher positions.
• Independent, proactive, positive attitude, and Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess a driving license, own car is preferred

HR Shared Services Operations

• Oversee Data Management: Manage and update employee data in the HRIS to ensure information is accurate and timely for payroll processing.

• Onboarding and Offboarding: Handle processes for new hires and exiting employees.

• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in HR processes and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Engage in different C&B related projects such as salary proposal, benefits benchmarking, annual review process for salary adjustment, bonus and incentive.

• Maintain consistent deployment of compensation policy and practice, identifying inconsistencies and develop corrective actions. Act as a change agent by facilitating, managing and implementing the necessary modifications to ensure that it is communicated & executed effectively and accurately.

• Review of compensation plans with monetary and non-monetary benefits based on employee needs.

• Support in preparation of C&B data for analysis and reporting to identify trends, gaps and areas for improvement.

Recruitment & Onboarding:

• Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.

• Conduct onboarding sessions for new hires and ensure they have the necessary resources.

• Prepare and issue employment contracts for new hires and amendments for existing employees.

• Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies.

Payroll Management:

• Process payroll on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.

• Maintain payroll records and handle payroll-related inquiries.

Work Passes and Visa Applications:

• Manage visa application processes for foreign employees, ensuring compliance with immigration regulations.

• Liaise with government agencies and legal advisors regarding visa and work permit issues.

Compliance and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all HR processes comply with local, regional, and international labor laws and regulations.

• • SOP Development: Create, maintain, and update standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in HR operations.

• • Audit Readiness: Prepare and manage documentation for internal and external audits to ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations.

Vendor Management

• Vendor Selection: Participate in the selection and evaluation of HR service vendors to ensure they meet the organization’s standards.

• Contract Management: Manage vendor contracts, including negotiating terms and ensuring compliance with agreed service levels.

• Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and evaluate vendor performance, addressing any issues promptly to maintain service quality.
