Job Description:
(Par Savings & Investment Linked)
- Responsible for pricing of Par savings & Investment Linked products
- Carry out pricing framework & strategy, leading the negotiations with reinsurers, obtaining internal & regional product approval and complying with local regulatory product filing/approval requirement
- Apply actuarial technical knowledge in making actual business decisions
- Support all queries pertaining product features and designs
- Support any ad-hoc projects that may arise
- Continues to build knowledge of the organization, processes and customers
Who we are looking for:
Competencies & Personal Traits
- Good technical, analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to work independently
- Good working knowledge of Prophet systems, hands-on experience on actuarial valuation data processing and management
- Self-motivated and outcome oriented
- Good communication skills
- Experience with Prophet model and ALS, data processing/conversion software e.g. SQL/DCS is preferred
Working Experience
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in actuarial roles or positions
Professional Qualifications
- Qualified or nearly qualified actuary from a recognized professional actuarial body
