We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and overseeing various sales activities including lead generation, quotations, customer service, and e-commerce management. The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining accurate records to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and actively pursue new sales leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, online research, and industry events.
   Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and expand the sales pipeline.
   
2. Quotation Management: Prepare, send, and follow up on quotations to prospective and existing clients.
   Ensure quotations are aligned with client needs, competitive, and delivered in a timely manner.
   
3. Client Relationship Management: Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients to foster long-term business growth.
   Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction at every stage of the sales process.
   
4. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and transactions using CRM tools.
   Regularly update the CRM database to ensure seamless tracking of sales progress and client communication.
   
5. Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
   Work closely with the customer support team to resolve any client issues or concerns promptly.
   
6. Tender Submissions: Research and browse relevant e-portals to submit bids and proposals for tenders.
   Ensure submissions are timely, compliant with specifications, and aligned with client requirements.
   
7. E-commerce Campaign Registration: Register and manage participation in e-commerce campaigns, promotions, and special offers to maximize sales visibility.
   Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure alignment of online sales strategies with overall business goals.
   
8. Platform Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain content on e-commerce platforms.
   Ensure that product listings, pricing, availability, and promotions are accurate and up-to-date to enhance customer experience.
   

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in sales, with a strong track record in lead generation, prospecting, and client relationship management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in CRM software and other sales tools.
• Experience in e-commerce platform management is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation.

Key Responsibilities

• Market company’s entire product range and prospects for customers across assigned territories.
• Manage the entire customer sales cycle, including pre-sales, post-sales, etc.
• Respond to the functional and technical aspects of customers' requests for quotations, enquiries, and orders.
• Responsible for representing products to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, exhibitions, or trade shows.
• Develop sales tactics, set sales targets, and proceed to meet targets set for designated areas.
• Coordinate with other departments to organize work processes.
• Perform timely management reports.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Coordinate the entire operation of all the outlets during schedule shifts

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales within the Singapore marine industry.
• Strong contacts and established relationships with technical superintendents, technical departments, purchasing departments, and operations departments.
• Robust network with ship management companies, charterer companies, shipowners, etc.
• Confident in selling consumable products and chemicals.
• Ability to convince customers by presenting unique perspectives and effectively managing perceptions.
• Outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and self-motivate.
• Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
• Experience in chemicals is an advantage.
• Able to thrive in a self-starting environment, driven by results.
