As a Sales Manager a typical day might include the following:

• Working autonomously to lead business development efforts in Southeast Asia and introduce SEL products and services to new and existing customers through visits, demonstrations, training courses, and telecommunications contact.
• Teaching and partnering with regional leadership and employees to quote, sell, and support customers with products and solutions that add value for them.
• Developing sales forecasts and strategic plans and performing activities to meet/exceed those plans.
• Participating in SEL marketing and sales activities, industry technical meetings, and conferences.
• Maintaining customer databases for customer sales and application information.
• Other duties as assigned.

This job might be for you if you:

• Have a strong educational background in electrical engineering or related field.
• Have experience in technical sales and business development related to power systems protection and control (experience working with a manufacturer is preferred).
• Have experience working directly with end-users, distributors and sales partners.
• Have strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills in English.
• Enjoy autonomy and working with latitude necessary to drive results.
• Are willing to travel both domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.

The Role…

As a key contributor, you’ll:

• Drive Sales: Lead initiatives to boost enrollments, secure donations, and promote product sales across multiple brands.
• Engage Customers: Connect with customers via calls, emails, and WhatsApp to understand their needs, close sales, upsell, and retain loyalty.
• Leverage Technology: Use HubSpot CRM to manage customer data, track activities, and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with marketing and product teams to align efforts, develop sales materials, and enhance customer journeys.
• Deliver Results: Monitor sales performance, optimize strategies, and exceed targets through upselling, cross-selling, and customer feedback.

Summary:

• 6 days, 8am-5pm (Monday - Saturday)

Job Scope:

• Seek out new corporate clients through cold calling and sales visits
• Perform price negotiation with customers based on the established Company’s guidelines
• Perform forecasting to ensure availability of stocks
• Liaise closely and promptly, and to provide excellent service and support to customer’s requests, complaints and enquiries
• Work closely with internal teams ensuring all logistics and operations aspects are met for the customers.
• Provide weekly and monthly sales activity reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the sales, preferably in the F&B or FMCG industry, and proven relevant track record of outstanding sales performance

• Proven track record to initiate and develop a sales strategy to key accounts

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Singaporean only

-Must be able to work night shift and split shift

-Must be able to work extra hours if needed

-Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products, utilizing knowledge of production processes and methods, machine and equipment capabilities, and human resource requirements and capabilities.

-Makes decisions on job assignments and work priorities

-Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays and downtime.

-Responsible for equipment condition and department housekeeping

-Researches, complies and prepares reports, correspondence, and other information required by management, as well as, identifies and resolves report discrepancies or errors.

-Works with employees to maintain a safe work environment. Leads and supports direct reports to work in a safe manner and to seek improvements in work practices.

-Ensures that product quality and production efficiencies meet or exceed established standards.

-Examines procedures and recommends changes to save time, labor, and other costs and to improve quality control and operating efficiency.

-Observes direct reports to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.

-Verifies completeness and accuracy of direct reports’ work, computations, and records.

-Participates in work of direct reports to facilitate productivity or overcome difficult aspects of work.
