About The Team

TikTok is one of the fastest growing apps in the world, and we're looking for Senior Software Engineers to join our Ads Infra team. The ads system at TikTok operates on a massive scale and serves millions of advertisers, clients and influencers across the world. The quality of the ads system highly depends on the ability to handle massive data and traffic. We are responsible for building compliant, highly efficient and stable infrastructure to collect and process data for the usage of bidding, budget spending control, pacing and ads deliver data, etc.

What You'll Do

- Build delivery services for TikTok Ads, including ads bidding, budget spending control, ads deliver data processing, ads pacing and etc.

- Provide technical solutions and guidance to team members and project peers, especially on big data.

- Build service frameworks with highest performance and availability.

- Build globalized ad systems across multiple data centers intercontinental.

Qualifications

- Bachexlor's degree in computer science or related technical disciplines.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience and deep understanding of beam, flink or spark framework and Redis/Kafka

- Experience programming in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, C++ or Golang.

- Strong Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, software design) and problem-solving skills.

- Effective communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experienced in at least one area of the following areas: Ads delivery, personalized recommendations, search engine, distributed storage system.

About The Team

The Transaction Platform team is responsible for the end-to-end process of TikTok commercialization transactions, including onboarding, billing, payment, credit control, finance, incentives and other systems involved in the sales process. Our objective is to establish a robust, adaptable, and intelligent transaction platform for TikTok, enhancing commercialization efficiency and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

- Backend development of TikTok's commercialized transaction platform.

- Understand internal users' personalized requests and come up with scalable technical solutions.

- In-depth understanding of clients' pain points throughout the transaction process, working with product teams to analyze, define and solve the problem.

- Transaction system operation and maintenance.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or above in computer science or related fields.

- 5+ years of experience building scalable systems.

- Professional experience with Java is preferred.

- Familiarity with network advertisement or transaction platforms is a plus.

The successful candidate will join the Branch’s Customer Service Department which offers consumer banking products such as savings accounts, fixed deposits, current accounts and remittances services to customers. He/She will perform both front-office counter service duties and back- office operational and administrative duties in the department.

Such duties include:

• handling over the counter banking transactions including opening of accounts;
• processing inward and outward remittance transactions;
• processing inter-bank GIRO payments;
• handling customer enquiries;
• attending to customers’ account requests; etc.

The preferred candidate must satisfy the following requirements:

• A recognized degree.
• At least 1-year experience handling retail banking transactions in a bank
