Purpose of job

About the job

As a member of the Social Work team, you are expected to maintain a caseload as assigned by senior staff members and provide individual casework, group and family work intervention action plans including behavioural management of clients in care.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support the Active Ageing Centre's (AAC) provision of active ageing, befriending & buddying, care referral services to seniors within centre's service boundary area.
2. Work closely with centre's Programme team in identifying seniors who may require additional care referral services and assist in raising appropriate referrals to care and support services.
3. Receive and review referrals for CREST service in conjunction with CREST team/Centre Manager to determine needs of clients and/or caregiver(s). Inform and consult CREST team/Centre Manager of recommendations regarding admission and classification of case (P1-3).
4. Provide case management services to clients and/or caregiver(s) under CREST programme through providing basic emotional support, monitoring, service linkages, to assist them to manage their mental health issues and caregiver stressors.
5. Work closely with primary care (eg. GPs, Polyclinics), health care providers (eg. RHs), social service agencies (eg. FSCs, SSO) and other community partners (AACs, SGO, PA, CC/RC) to identify at risk cases in the community within Fengshan division. To conduct joint assessments to assess needs and suitability for enrolment into CREST programme.
6. Receive and review referrals for Dementia Day Care programme in conjunction with Nursing Department to determine suitability and appropriate placement in the centre. Inform and seek approval from Centre Manager of recommendations regarding admission and placement.
7. Present admissions application for Dementia Day Care programme to Dept Head/ED for final approval of funding and placement of applicant.
8. Provide social work related support services to clients and their families, e.g. referrals to community or residential services.
9. Upon referral from both government/non-government sources implement an appropriate system for assessing and investigating current and future applications
10. On admission work closely with client and family to orient them to the centre and facilities.
11. Develop an appropriate internal and external network to assist in resourcing and referral of service users.
12. Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure that psychosocial needs of the clients and their caregivers are actively considered in their care management.
13. Ensure "hands-on" approach to working with service users.
14. Maintain accurate and current documentation of casework for assigned caseload.
15. In compliance with government regulations for continued funding, conduct annual review of household incomes/social conditions of residents' support network.
16. Work closely with peers within department to maintain an efficient and effective Social Work department.
17. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and work closely with Case Manager (Clinical) in discharge planning reviews.

About The Role

This position is part of the Student Services (SS) department within Office of Academic Services (AS) serving as the first point of contact for students and alumni and enhancing the overall student services of the University. SS manages the SS hotline, counter, written correspondences,and administration of Electronic Course Evaluation (eCE) surveys to foster a student centric service environment.
The candidate will support SS day-to-day operations, manage the SS Quality and Training related initiatives, assist with survey administration, and contribute towards the overall enhancement of SS service ecosystem.

What You Will Be Doing

Operations (30%)

• Monitor and supervise day-to-day student services operations, manage students’ enquiries, requests, and feedback across all touch pointsthat are received through channels such as phone, email, and walk-in.
• Manage a team of 2-3 officers and/or senior officers, providing guidance to team members on handling student feedback, especially forchallenging and complex situations.

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in customer service, preferably in a contact centre environment.
• Professional Qualifications in Contact Centre, Quality Assurance and Training (e.g., COPC, ACTA, etc.) will be an added advantage.

Project Summary
The Behavioural Insights Centre of Excellence in SUSS is seeking a qualified research executive to support the study of “Development and Validation of a Platform Worker Occupational Well-being Indicator Tool”. The approach to this project will be through interviews, and surveys. The Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (HASS) Cluster at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) seeks applicants for a full-time lecturer or senior lecturer teaching-track position in the social sciences. Appointments will be made on an initial two- or three-year contract with the possibility of renewal, including opportunities for career development and promotion within the teaching-track.

We seek applicants from any of the social sciences (economics, sociology, anthropology, psychology, etc.) who have a strong background and interest in teaching classical and contemporary social science theory and methods. Successful applicants will teach in our team-taught introductory core course Social Science: Understanding Culture, Society and Behaviour. In addition, successful applicants will also teach 1 or 2 electives of their own design that contribute to our cluster’s teaching mission as a HASS cluster within an engineering and design university.

Job Description

• Brainstorm, plan and execute campaign on company's online platform
• To work with external parties (such as design agency) to ensure timely and accurate uploading of content relating to campaign
• Monitor market and competition to suggest relevant changes in order for company to remain relevant
• Manage company's website, social media and portfolio on external platforms including product upload, product updates, delisting, returns management, stock accuracy, and shop content creation & updates
• Increase sales conversion by creating banners to convey product messaging and promotions
• Crafting sales promotions to attract sales and encourage conversion
• Report and escalate issues to relevant internal and external stakeholders for troubleshooting
• Any other ad-hoc and administrative tasks
• Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness
• Answering incoming calls and dealing with email enquiries

Requirements

• Min. Dipolma in any discipline
• Highly motivated and ability to work under pressure
• Have to be able to communicate in English and Mandarin

What You Will Be Doing

Specific (90%)

• Process Coordination: Co-ordinate and maintain efficient process for operations and activities within the department, and supporting operations to ensure effectiveness and compliance with standards.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, facilitating communication and collaboration on administrative matters pertaining to assessments related activities.
• Student Support: Address student enquiries promptly, providing comprehensive solutions for routine and escalated cases, fostering a positive and supportive environment for student success.
• Workflow Documentation: Document and continuously improve workflow procedures for departmental activities, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assignment Related Activities: Processing of student’s assignment appeals and investigation of plagiarism cases.
• Examination Related Activities: Preparation of logistics for examinations, invigilation, distribution of scripts, examination grade appeals and Pass/Fail Conversion applications.
• Guides and Training Material Development: Create comprehensive guides, FAQs, and workflows for internal staff and students, aiding their understanding and usage of new systems effectively.
• System Testing and Support: Provide support for data migration and conduct essential pilot testing for new system functionalities. Resolve major issues before roll-out, ensuring a smooth transition for the team and making necessary adjustments.

General (10%)

• To provide support to the Senior Manager of Examination Administration and perform any duties as assigned by him.

Job Requirements

• Degree holder with 1-2 years' relevant working experience.
• Mature, meticulous and possess high level of discretion and integrity.
• Effective interpersonal skills with excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Resourceful team player who is able to work independently and proactive.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to do data analysis and information research.
• Ability to communicate well so as to act as liaison and help reach out to stakeholders, such as faculty and admin staff from other departments and divisions as well as associates and other stakeholders.
